Hopefully Kevin Davies turns up. I would have rather we started with Sordell but lets see how it goes.

Think he's in for his exotic-sounding name. Brighton have a few Spaniards and a Brazillian? So...why not?

Settle down now, the pies have come. Commentators are talking about "electricity in the air", (oh no, they're on about at Villa) Shilling in the meter then, twitching now and..... "Cold and windy at the Bok" , that's a new one and....Away we go...

Live commentary on 95.1 FM. Greater Manchester radio if local enough to get it. Jack Deardon commentator and Alan Gowling's back instead of Browny !!

Brighton early attack and Davo crunches one out for a throw. Pratley starts one and Eagles gets one tipped away. We go again and...keeper grabs it and starts them off again. Rickets has to clear for a throw. Brighton again and..get it forward and Lonergan gets it at second go. Spearing, Pratley, Rickets, Eagles and it all gets cleared. Knight has to make a good tackle for a corner.

Brighton very interested in testing us out early from the sound of it. Davo figures with Chungy but it goes for a throw. Spearing and Eagles combine well but it finishes back with Lonergan.
N'gog slips (he does a bit of that,) but then gets it back and fires one at the keeper. Spearing again.....Eagles loses it then gets it again and Davo's header comes off a Brighton player for...

bags of chatting from the commentary while Brighton break and send one over the top.

Brighton looking like "chocolate limes" in their kit..Pratley gives away a free kick and escapes a booking, luckily. And....Ohhh, Lonergan has to make a save after a real defensive slip. Corner and they get a free header, but ref gives us a free kick. Good break by Eagles gets cleared but we go again. Davo "causing problems in heir defence". Sounds pretty even so far and they try again making us defend. Knight clears again for a throw.

We go and N'gog feed Eagles. Cleared back and back they come. N'gog wins it well, Pratley hits it "not too far wide" Davo being urged to have a go. They come again via Bridge but cleared. Chungy quiet so far. Spearing wins it well as Knight goes down. Big boos as Brighton in no hurry to boot it out. Knight's okay. Brighton clear it. Chungy not "on the mark" so far it seems. An early goal could set them back a bit but it's all back and forth. Free kick them, Lopez...and we have to clear off the line. Davo has to clear for another corner. Defence getting some stick. Corner cleared by Spearing and we get a run.....1-0....Alonso... :oyea:
