He just needs more time. I's going to take two years minimum to undo the mess that Coyle left.

I mean look at Wigan; they've been in no end of trouble since Coyle left them.
Erm correct me if I am wrong but......

Its really frustrating to read people writing about our on field performances, when its really clear that this week theyve been doing important work on correct parking etiquette at rhe training ground. Theres very limited space here, and under Coyle they were allowed to get away with murder by parking anywhere they liked - acoss two spaces, bumped up knkerbs etc etc. It could take weeks to drum it out of them, I think people should see the bigger picture.

I've found it MUCH easier to get out of the car park recently. JSL.

I'd say that folk stopping going to the games and the apathy of others posting about matches on here are indicative of the tripe that the Worlds Greatest Manager is serving up, wouldn't you?

The fact that it wasn't that bad compared to what has gone before, yet we STILL failed to beat a poor struggling side at home, is what is most worrying.

Says the one who came out with this: "Whatever the possession stats say Charlton had the clearest chances and could have been three up before we realised there was a game to play."

Bollocks, sir.

Lee header cleared off the line. Mason flick from a great ball into Lee by Eagles that just hit their keeper. Danns with a decent chance from the edge of the box blazed over. Lee similarly so after a great run that sat up perfectly to be hit. Moritz finding Lee with a great ball over the top. That was just in the first half, not counting the goal. They had a couple of long rangers about as good as Danns and Lee's plus their goal.

Then second half we dominated possession without creating much. Their keeper made two great saves to his right, and Lonergan made an absolute worldy at the end.

It wasn't great at all, very frustrating, but it certainly wasn't dismal or inept.

We're 17th. When does it become either of those? Because, and lets be clear here, we're not seventeenth because they forgot to add up our points correctly.

This season has certainly had long periods where it has been dismal and inept, just yesterday wasn't one of them!

No doubt if you'd sat through the 'before' it might taint your view of it, but as a pair of fresh eyes, it really wasn't that bad! It wasn't good either, mind, just not 'the worst thing ever'.

So context is everything. If it was in the middle of a long unbeaten run, we'd be fairly satisfied, but its a 1/4-way decent performance in the middle of a dismal set of results, following on from the worst start in our history (certainly since before Aeroplane was invented). If this is a high water mark, then god help us.

I think you're missing the point... it has to be either the best thing ever OR the worst thing ever... that's how the internets works...
