My real hatred lies for their nearest rivals, always hated County more than any other team. Also Nottingham's a sh*thole :D .
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Was a good game and a good performance. Result we'd have taken before kick off I'd suspect. At times we looked light in midfield and their goal seemed like we parted like the Red Sea.

But Danns and Mark Davies for me were both excellent. Lonergan made some great saves too.

Forest were a disgrace in my view. Time wasting, nasty off the ball challenges and a lot of gamesmanship.

We looked totally anonymous up front all game. And Lee just isn't performing.

Spearing was better than of late but his set pieces were dire!

Just back.. I said the other day on the supporters thread that I don't really celebrate goals like I use to.

Today was very different! What a great atmosphere and game that second half turned into!

We look so much better with 2 up top. Forest are horrible c*nts and they were a disgrace today constantly breaking the game up. That's what made the game so good though due to the hatred we had for Forest's antics.

We seemed really up for it today and the roof would have come off had we got the winner but unfortunately we lacked composure infront of goal.

Spearing is frustrating to watch and I'd have Medo in for him every time. Silly passes and bad decisions constantly.

Really pleased with that today. We need more of that. Just wish we was more clinical infront of goal.

Danns was the man today. Such good feet and always escapes when closed down. Energy, effort, passion, calmness, good touch.. I could go on.

Can't disagree with that, really, other than the two "worldies" from Lonergan...

I will, he was magnificent from start to finish. Fantastic attitude, all over the place, totally positive even when decisions don't go his way, and brilliant in the air for his height. Also the last player off the pitch after applauding all four corners. Absolute class.

His save first half from that header from that prick Halford was truly world world class.

Yeah, looked behind him when he got it. The one from Reid was excellent too, I had a pretty good angle on it from where I was sat. How Halford stayed on the pitch from that retaliatory tackle on Mills(?) Was a complete mystery.

Forest came into this on a massive high and we reduced to cynical cheating and time-wasting, which is a compliment to the way we played. I don't care what the formation numbers are, that was what I turn up to see, and we deserved the win despite their hitting the post. Lonergan made a great save and it would have been a travesty had we lost. If we play like that every week we'll win most games. We need someone better up front though and we've given them a soft one again. Spearing has been rubbish for a while, and his set piece delivery is appalling, Get Medo in playing like he did last week and that's a top notch midfield.
And Lonergan has to stay for the rest of the season, because he is a much better keeper than Bogdan.

Once a goal up Forest changed completely. Before half time I thought they looked very good going forwards and always seemed to have a man spare, especially in the first ten when they twice had a man over in the box. I don't think I've ever seen a team change so comprehensively though and they became a team of spoilers and nigglers and time wasters and it was that that led indirectly to our come back. We were always going to come back into it, I thought, and the goal from Mills was fully deserved.

Danns - superb from start to finish! Can't praise him enough. And Lonergan, two real world class saves, one high up to his right to claw out a ball from the goal line and another low down to his left. Surely now even DF can see we look much better with a single holding midfielder rather than two.

Great game. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and I've not said that too often this season.

Still had people moaning on the radio on the way home. Even though they hadn't been to the game. Unbelievable.

He also needs to make sure it's Medo not Spearing for the time being.

They are irrelevant. First time we've dropped points this season without a grumble at the final whistle. The crowd knew the applause was deserved and the atmosphere was the best of the season.

How shit was the Forest lot!?

Didn't hear a peep from them until they scored and then shut up after 5 minutes. Then nothing the rest of the game.

I though their lot were suppose to be decent support?

Just back in. Overall I think a draw was probably a fair result. Danns and mills were excellent today and although we lost out on possession and sometimes looked light in centre midfield, 442 worked. Long may it continue.

I am of course claiming credit for the result in two fronts. Dougie obviously reacted to my rant about changing the formation on gmr and clearly, minimalist threads are the way forward.

being posted up in the highlands of Scotland, i don't get much chance to get to any games nowadays (Was a season ticket holder at Burnden when i lived in Breightmet) so i exhaust all possible internet links to keep tabs on how we're getting on.

i have been pretty damn broken hearted recently to see the plight of our club.

Every week i feel full of the dreaded "optimism" only to be shot down like the Luftwaffe over London, but this result, coupled with the performance has given me a second wind. Before the match i would of taken a point against a very much in form forrest, who smashed a prem team 5-0 on their previous outing.

really happy to see the 4-4-2 formation getting the cobwebs blown off it, maybe their might be a place for Sordell after all.

Thanks for the match reports from the guys that went today, and also Tango for the coverage.

Thought we played well today. Pity we came out of the blocks so slowly at the start of the second half when it seems like they strolled through the middle of our defence for the goal.

Positives

- Two up front. Especially when it came to corners for Forrest and when they attacked, it prevented their full backs pushing on and relieved some of the pressure on Ream and Baptiste.
- Danns - Tenacious, work rate, good touch, passing, carries the ball well, calm. MOTM for me.
- Lonergan - two quality saves. Faultless. Now the clubs 1st choice IMO.
- Knight and Mills - solid performance. Will do Knights confidence no harm. Mills header was quality and celebrated the goal with some passion which was nice to see.
The crowd - really got behind the lads and made for a decent atmosphere in the last 20mins.

Negatives

- Defending in the final third - still not closing down the opposition, still backing off, allowing players to turn with the ball too easily etc etc. Watching Forrest in the same situation, they hunted us down in packs and closed us down preventing crosses and not giving us time to think.
- Spearing - too many times attacking players ran past him with and without the ball, sloppy passing, poor free kicks and often marking space rather than a man (I appreciate this can work when done correctly but he looked a lost at times). Time for a 'rest' for me and give Medo a run.
- CYL - still flattering to deceive. Feel sorry for him because wingers thrive on confidence and he's lacking that at the moment. Still believe he'll come good and hopefully that's for us!
- Goal Scoring Chances - after they went in front we only troubled the keeper twice. Took one too many touches in goal scoring positions rather than putting their foot through it and having a good. Again, probably down to confidence.
- Forrest gamesmanship - don't want to dwell on this but Forrest do it a lot, especially away from home. They seem pleased with the point and it was probably a testament to our performance after the equaliser.

All in all an encouraging performance against a good team who have invested a lot in players and are bang in form. We changed the system, and, dare I say it; "we're not far off...".

A mention to Paterson and Landsbury. Looked good for Forrest.

I didn't go .... honestly couldn't face the trip & match. I'm nonetheless glad they appeared to generally play well. Glad we put out an attacking formation and, formation aside, went out with a positive mindset.

Just now need to add Medo in for Spearing, until the little Scouser regains his form, ensure we keep Lonergan in the nets and have Eagles, or maybe Hall, in for CYL until he regains his form.

Reading above that we left players up while we defended corners. Seriously, thank fck for that.

Just such a shame that what we have mostly been able to see for months has taken so long to filter through to ground level. Still, it's a start.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
