Fecking force field on that goal.
Took 3 players to get it over the line.

Fair to say the players do care.

We deserved the win on the balance of the game for sure. And that was the second definite penalty in the game.

Clean sheet too.
Santos, excellent.
Southwood, excellent.
Rest of them must do better.

Well done Lolos. That's the impetus we like to see. Could've half assed the follow up, but right place right time.
Unlucky for their keeper who makes a number of good saves in there.

Follow-up was even worse. Credit to their lad for saving it but Dion headed it straight at him while he was on the deck.
Well anyway. I got the buzz. God that's a good feeling. Long may it roll.

John McGinlay jinxed him, "back of the net" before he ran up.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 5:01 pmI would add Matete to the list. Collins was brighter than he has been as well.
Terrible pen from Charles! I knew he’d miss it!

That sorta felt like a Mark Robins goal...but only if they make it so in the next games...Always happy with three points but up until the last minute, it felt like 2 upper mid table teams cancelling each other out, despite imo an overall improved performance..
As for Santos excellent, he'd have been less so had Southwood not made the best save of the match....

More like it (still with a way to go)
nearer to autos than relegation

more imminently, a win on Tuesday would take us at least 7th (Barnsley and Hudds not playing), possibly higher depending on results from Lincoln (Northampton H) and Reading (Stockport A)

Agreed to all of that. Will take more than one game but this is the best I've felt all season. It's a start, literally.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 5:05 pmThat sorta felt like a Mark Robins goal...but only if they make it so in the next games...Always happy with three points but up until the last minute, it felt like 2 upper mid table teams cancelling each other out, despite imo an overall improved performance..

I agree it was two mid-table teams , but I thought we were far superior to them. It was however the old story In parts , good product up until the final third. Their keeper was mom for them .
People haven't got a good word for you, but i have T**T.

I reckon "Three Wise Monkeys time." sums it. Just take the three points and slink away with a tight-lipped expression.
In truth, the amount of shots, chances we had, the fact it took a last-minute penalty to win is a bit of a joke. Ah well, "All that ends well" etc...
