And/or they can't commit to the 18-month contract he still had here.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:02 pmHave to say the loan is surprising. Does that mean we are paying some of his wages? I assume it does.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:01 pmSadlier leaves on loan...that last part surprises me.

They've now retweeted the story with Ade removed. But not deleted the original tweet. Goes to same URL with edited story, but still not a great look.

Yeah true. True. I suspect it will be a combination of wages and length of deal. Good luck to Sads. Always liked him. Shame he's not been given a chance. But that's life.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:07 pmAnd/or they can't commit to the 18-month contract he still had here.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:02 pmHave to say the loan is surprising. Wing back...not a defender! Sadlier offered a wide stretch with attacking intent and I'd like that option to replace him. Ideally someone more natural at wing back.

Reading the personal side the Sadlier story, I'm happy for him. Family is the most important thing.

Happier up front. Need to see what happens further back. Who replaces Sadlier at wing back which was already a weaker area and what happens at centre half.

A little know fact, but a wing-back is a defender.

One or two speculating that Aimson has left as he's not on the hotel guest list (that's if its in alphabetical order).

Presumably the Sadlier announcement was meant to happen later, but things got prompted by the Os.

I wonder which transfer we'll leak in the Aimson announcement.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:09 pmThey've now retweeted the story with Ade removed. But not deleted the original tweet. Goes to same URL with edited story, but still not a great look.

That is true. But he was the best cover we had for one. So speak to need now.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:40 pmAnother little known fact is Sadlier ain't a wing back!![]()

It's like this window's designed to make you panic.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:49 pmThat is true. But he was the best cover we had for one. So speak to need now.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:40 pmAnother little known fact is Sadlier ain't a wing back!
For the record, I agree. But clearing the decks of players that don't work - seems sensible to me

We've only taken a risk on one game. There's no Tuesday match, so we can get Charlton done with a slight depletion at the back and then get it straight.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:56 pmIt's like this window's designed to make you panic.

Re: January 2023 Transfer Window
Sadlier out for a proper wing back makes sense. Sadlier out for nobody would be silly.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:56 pmIt's like this window's designed to make you panic.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 4:49 pmThat is true.
