In fact in my lifetime, Luxembourg have always been perennially sh*te.
I know what he's trying to say, as a team they are sh*te but who's to say an individual that plays for them is not going to be better than what we have in our team? Its just a bit dismissive of a player if he doesnt play for one of the top countries!!!
I agree with you and hope that if he comes he will be ace.

Most of us where clambering for Spearing to be signed early doors and he was from Liverpool, look what has happened there. Yes he may yet come good but he has not improved the team that was drawing and losing for fun as we are still drawing and losing for fun. Oh and a Captain he is not or never will be go enough!!

Hopefully this unknown Luxembourg kid will come in and be fantastic you never know!!

Why is he wearing a cone? Don't they dribble the balls around those? Maybe that's it Duggie has brought him in as a coaching aid, after all Luxembourg players are quite used to their opponents dribbling the ball around them.

That picture doesn't make him even look like a footballer ... & gloves !?!?!?!?

Its not really important that he's from Luxembourg, George Weah was from Liberia, Stretford once had a Northern Irish player who was supposed to be OK. But if he was any kop he'd be kicking a ball in Germany or France.

Or, maybe I'm in some big negative sulk right now.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

here's summat to warm Bobo's miserable cockles...
Dougie Freedman continues to be linked with players at his former club and today Sky Sports has reported that Wanderers are one of a host of Championship clubs assessing the contract situation of former Wales International defender Danny Gabbidon.
until this, that is...
Since this was reported, Bolton News reporter Marc Iles has taken to twitter to quash the rumours.

He's playing at Palace isn't he? Like every game? So yeah, can't see that happening.

Anyhow, we're Bolton Wanderers, we seemingly don't sign defenders.

French club Evian have made an offer to loan wantaway Bolton forward David Ngog until the end of the season.

Evian are reportedly interested in taking the 24-year-old on loan for the remainder of his Bolton contract, before making the deal permanent in the summer. However, as things stand, a fee has yet to be agreed between the two clubs.

You're all looking at this Luxembourg youngster business all wrong. The question you should ask is how many of our lot could make the Luxembourg team? It might put the relative merits of the lad into perspective!
