Sordell is worth a lot more than £600k. He's better than Beckford, who we paid a lot more than that for, and he's only 23. They're different types of players, and I think they'd work well together, but if Sordell going out is to bring Jutkiewicz in, I don't think it's a good deal. Sordell has more potential than Jutkiewicz and with the quality we've got in midfield, the priority should be finding a goalscorer.

Asked Marc Iles on Twitter what he thought the add-ons would come to on the Sordell deal. He reckons only about £150k, which I think is very poor. I wouldn't expect anyone to pay a big fee, but I'd have thought success clauses would be worth a lot more than that.

Nothing will ever convince me that Sordell hasn't engineered a move away in which his contract gets part paid up, he gets another 3 year deal, during which he will fail spectacularly, but never, ever have to work again.

Enjoyed Belgium vs S Korea tonight. Some great approach play by SK, Chungy had an excellent game I thought, good to see.

Chungy was absolutely awful. Won't be attracting any suitors with his World Cup efforts. As dreadful as he was for us.
