[ITK] That's strange, because I was in Birmingham for the tennis yesterday and saw Owen Coyle and Cameron Jerome having a chat! [/ITK]

Maybe they were discussing the finer aspects of Daniela Hantuchova's game?

Both with significant and lengthy Premier League experience - and both with a minimum of 24 months left in them at the top level. Second signing to be flown home from Jamaica so may drag a little."

not new - but still doing the rounds...
Bolton could be ready to cash in on Matt Taylor with Stoke and West Brom both said to be keen on the player.

Taylor struggled for regular first-team action at the Reebok Stadium last season and there have been suggestions he could be on the move for as little as £1.5million.

Trotters boss Owen Coyle is planning to make changes to his squad during the close season and could be willing to let Taylor go after knocking back bids for the player during the January transfer window.

As always competition is strong with the same clubs chasing the same players and West Brom are also keen on the 29-year-old, who can also slot in at left-back.

1.5M? Strong competition? Sounds like their ready to break the bank to get Matty.

There's a suggestion on Ceefax that Everton are looking to offload Yobo & Yakubu to fund some purchase or other. I can imagine a few on here with reservations about Yakubu but either or both of them would be good for me. Not sure about the wages but I'm sure they'd be priced within our means.

hmmm...

He made his debut for the first team on 22 September 2010 in their defeat to League Two side Northampton Town in the third round of the League Cup;[12] Northampton winning 4–2 on penalties after a 2–2 draw.

He made his first Premier League start on 27 February 2011 at the Boleyn Ground in a 3–1 defeat against West Ham United.

On 2 April, he replaced the injured Daniel Agger during the first half in a 2-1 defeat away to West Bromwich Albion.

I'd have Yobo as a Cahill replacement/backup. Yakubu? I don't know...he hasn't really done much for a while, and iirc, didn't make waves at Leicester...

I think he bagged a few at Leicester iirc. I think after being linked with Jerome though even bog standard players become more appealing :D

I personally think Yobo could still do a job for us. He was on a season long loan at Fenerbahçe and played 30 games.

Yakubu is injury prone and although is still a decent player would not be worth the risk. According to Wiki he got 11 goals in 20 games.
