I reckon I'd make a fantastic race car driver, just a shame I don't have a licence.mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:That's not a mere 'shame' - it's absolutely fundamental.BWFC_Insane wrote:As Pru says, its just a shame he's technically not very good at all.

Not that it means owt, but wikishit reckons he's on 5k a week in Israel
I'd put Pratley on at least 10
So you rate him then?

I'm not keeping up.
Fundamentals, Scottish, standard, race car, licence, Israel, 10.
Nope, dropping further behind...

Stop your pillaging, then, and pay attention.
So, Israel...
Re: Darren Pratley
Holden's got two goals in his 34 games for us, Pratley and Muamba have matched that already this season. He's hardly Kevin Nolan himself.DJBlu wrote: If Pratley could tackle like Muamba then we'd have another Holden.

Seriously, if there's one player who's overrated beyond all belief, it's Stu. Generally people are realistic about what Muamba brings to the team, whereas Holden's been away so long he's morphed into a Xavi-Lampard-Makelele hybrid.
Also, there's no way that it was cheaper for us to bring in Pratley on a bosman, than it would've been to extend Cohen's contract. What it matters either way I've no idea.

Re: Darren Pratley
Stu Holden was our best player last year*. Still going to miss him whether that makes him Nolan or Messi doesn't really make a great deal of a difference.

Re: Darren Pratley
Of course, you don't have to be Nolan or Messi to be able to walk into our team. He's comfortably one of the top two midfielders at the club.
However, anyone who expects him to come back and single-handedly solve all of our problems is going to be disapointed.

Him and Lee would make a huge difference.

Yep.. We've missed Lee more in my opinion.Lord Kangana wrote:Him and Lee would make a huge difference.
Eagles is okay 1 in 4. Myaichi is decent, but neither have the same class and composure that Lee has.
