So would we all, but the realism is that its going down to the wire, and most probably always was. Never going to happen that three clubs would do so badly that Bolton and Blackburn could leave them floundering. As I've said all along forget about what others do. To stay up we're more than likely going to need 35 points. Forget other clubs fixtures, you can get strange results come the end of the season (Sunderland for example are sending out a reserve team at the weekend as they concentrate on the cup, more than likely another QPR win or at least a point). We need to get to 35 points and if we do we'll have a chance.
all of which is true - but am I NOT allowed be miffed that QPR won?
Of course, we all are. More annoyed that they won from 2-0 down with less than 15 minutes to go.....irritating.

I was with a Liverpool fan. He was a mixture of angry and apologetic.

The QPR fan I spoke to yesterday still refuses to have hope, although he concedes that it may start to flicker if they beat Sunderland (which they will if the Mackems are anything like as useless as they were at Blackburn).

I want Ream to concentrate fully on Yakubu. keep that f ucker out of the game and we might be ok.

Hoilett will be brimming also so we need to keep him quiet too, although from what i gather from bastard fans here is that he has been given false praise from Alan Hansen - they say apart from a couple of decent goals he's been pretty poor as a whole.

personally, id like to see Ream and Ricketts at centre half with Alonso coming in at LB. wheater and knight can piss off.

Nice idea and a good option, but against Blackburn we might need a bit of meat in the middle.

My point being, it won't matter if we do the business. If we don't then its our fault, and irrelevant who QPR do/don't beat!

Nought but the truth really. We all felt devastated from the sidelines. Get the ball kicked and the game underway and their minds will get back on track.

Or Bolton, while making Blackburn cockier than they already are
Sepp Blatter said rather than wrote:I had a phone call from Phil Gartside, the chairman of Bolton, and I have to say it was a very emotional call. As he said, from time to time there are forces somewhere that have nothing to do with reality.
Blatter... Phil G... nothing to do with reality... there's gotta be a joke there, right?

Have you heard the one about the Qatari, Sepp Blatter, and Phil Gartside standing at a bar. The Qatari asked Phil Gartside how much he paid for his stadium, then he asks Sepp Blatter how much the Qataris should spend on their World Cup Stadium, to which Sepp Blatter said.... "no idea, I've nothing to do with realty". Ta da.

Do Sunderland want us to get relegated or something? :conf:

I believe its so they can come to our tawdry little club any time they like and take any player they want.

Or something.

In terms of the league theyve hit a glass ceiling for this year so the cup is all that is left now the winning streak has gone.Just the way it is...

Was just with them capitulating against Blackburn too...

Don't blame them for that though. If we were safe, I'd probably agree with doing it too,

I'm very confident we'll wipe the floor with Blackburn sat, the players will do it for Muamba. Should be a decent crowd of around 26k, and i like everyone else will be fully behind the team sat.
