Last Monday sadly. reoccurrence of same ligament injury.William the White wrote:They've just said on Radio Manc that he played 20 mins of a reserve game, was injured, and is now back in America for further medical stuff...
Have I missed this, or is it new news?

Re: Holden on to nothing?
I think it slightly passed you by WtW. Holden has to go see the surgeon who performed the surgery to see if it's an adverse effect of the physical strain or whether there is a new injury concern. He may end up having further surgery. Personally I think he's done, I hope he's not but can't see how further surgery is not going to make it nigh on impossible for him to returnWilliam the White wrote:They've just said on Radio Manc that he played 20 mins of a reserve game, was injured, and is now back in America for further medical stuff...

Re: Holden on to nothing?
@stuholden will be out of action for between six and nine months following an operation on the ligaments in his right knee. #BWFC

Think its time to lock this thread and start the cheers and good luck Stu thread.

Or time to accept that his playing career is probably over and look forward to welcoming his positive presence back at the club in some capacity. He'll have another crack at it I expect but can't see the result being any different.Hoboh wrote:Think its time to lock this thread and start the cheers and good luck Stu thread.

Sad as it is, soon as he went down we pretty much knew that would be the case.....Stu knew it too!Prufrock wrote:

Three major surgeries. Baffling to think he has to go through all that again.
Re: Holden on to nothing?
Another 6 months. What a bitch. Think he needs to get rid of that Warrior hat. There is something clearly jinxing him.
Re: Holden on to nothing?
He should rinse Evans for every penny he has got. Ruined the poor lads career. Should have had another 5,6,7 years in the top leagues.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Holden is about my age and this is the latest in a long line of pictures I've seen on social media which can be constructed to show there's an engagement ring present.
Stating the obvious but 6-9 months takes him out of contract.
