some kind of striker-wangle would seem to be a priority at the moment - but then, it has been for a long time! have the hooper rumours gone away??
Re: A Win Away? Millwall / Friday 19th
Heskey is getting a game with the under 21s on Monday apparently.
Still can't get my head round it.

The under 21 stones? Not sure he's eligible.DJBlu wrote:Heskey is getting a game with the under 21s on Monday apparently.

If we'd got the same points under DF as under Lennon we'd be 3 points clear at the top.TonyDomingos wrote:I was about to make the same point (but isn't it 21 from 11?). Whatever, it's not far short of automatic promotion form. Perhaps we are this season's Southampton/Reading/Wigan?EverSoYouri wrote:So, since NL took over that's 21 points from 10 games. Could see Leicester coming for him in the next couple of months. I think we'd resist pretty strongly though and that he wouldn't go. He's not Steve Bruce, or Megson!ChrisC wrote:Great win tonight. Not happy about Lennon doing so well though!!
He will be snapped up by a premiership team in no time!

Lennon strikes me as the loyal type. He won't put his future prospects in danger, but I can see him sticking around for the foreseeable future unless a mid table or higher club approach from the league above.LeverEnd wrote:Could see Leicester coming for him in the next couple of months. Does he have a contract with us? If not, we should maybe think about that.ChrisC wrote:Lennon strikes me as the loyal type. Excellent goal by Pratley, reminded me of some of the goals he scored when at Swansea.
Re: A Win Away? Millwall / Friday 19th
It was an odd game today. Still not sure what the plan for us was past:
-----Lonners----
Vela--Mills--Dorian--Ream
---------Danns---------
??????????????????????????
Not a great first half but we stepped it up second. Darren had his best game I've seen him have and was comfortably motm ahead of the again impressive Dervite and Andy one world class save a game Lonergan.
Cracking night. Jingle Bells!

If all the games finished at half time we'd be second from bottomLeverEnd wrote:If we'd got the same points under DF as under Lennon we'd be 3 points clear at the top.
We weren't exactly pulling up trees in the second half with the previous manager so it must be this one who's got a silver tongue.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

I think the defence as a whole deserves a pat on the back. Conceding only 7 in 11 games is excellent. None of the top 6 can boast them figures.
Happy Wanderer at the moment.
edit: just checked we've got the tightest defence in the league since NL took over.

Same, can't wait for that game.LeverEnd wrote:Superb 3 points. Glad I bought those Huddersfield tickets this afternoon, bring on the next away win!
What a great win. I was in the pub so all I know about the game is via this thread and on BBC. Fantastic. I'm glad Hall didn't let anyone down.

Still in shock. Pratters! It was Messi-like that goal

Highlights:
The goal:
What a pass from Chungy. I love the way Danny Shittu gets up then falls back down again before Pratley pulls the trigger!

I have watched Prats goal more than 10 times now. Absolutely superb. The pass from LCY, the skill and finish from Pratley was world class.
