Pre Season Friendlies

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
Jesus. Beevers gives a stupid free kick away and ends up on his arse as it's headed in. This is dreadful and we aren't threatening up front either. Amos just completely miskicked one into the stand.
Good job pre season doesn't matter!

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
Weak slow and indecisive all over. This is last season bad. Subs all out doing drills on pitch with coach. I think quite a few of them will see some action.
Only real attacking threat was a Mavies run from right wing and shot. Not been direct or clever though. Proctor well off the pace and not really a physical threat either. Hopefully just needs games. Trotter and Vela offering nothing in CM. Taylor has done ok on wing but nothing much. Clough not threatened. Wilson at RB very poor.

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
Attention, people: there's been a change in our weekend plans.
Friday's game at Crewe will now be an 'XI' (ie reserves/kids) game.
Because the first XI will now be playing at York City on Saturday at 1.30pm: ticket details here (basically £12 adults, £6 concessions).
(The York game was originally 'XI'. For some reason Parky's flipped it. Probably wants an extra day of teaching them how not to fall over in defence.)

Or perhaps it's D-Pratz's leaving drinks on Friday night?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:For some reason Parky's flipped it. Probably wants an extra day of teaching them how not to fall over in defence.)

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
Conceded in the sixth minute, still 1-0 down with half an hour to go
Official Twitter says we started with a diamond 442
First half: Howard; Eardley, Wheater, Beevers, Moxey; Spearing behind Pratley and Vela; Clayton behind Madine and Woolery.
Second half, eventually changed to a standard 442: Amos; Wilson, Dervite, Beevers (Finney 66), Moxey (Honeyball 68); Pratley (Walker 66), Davies, Spearing (Trotter 66), Clayton (Taylor 66); Madine (Clough 66), Woolery (Wilkinson 66).

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
Several changes and then it's ....
GOAL! Dorian Dervite equalises for #BWFC! His stroked effort from @Tom1Walker1's free-kick sneaks in off the far post. (72) 1-1 #TRAvBOL

See above for the several changes, painstakingly typed out on a phone while waiting in an airport. The things I do, etc
