Creeping Northwards. At home to Crawley Town, Sat 8th FEB 3-0'clock.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

This referee is an absolute whopper.

I like him a lot more now :D .
He's still a whopper, he'll never give us a penalty.

And we'll never score 4 at home.
Thank me later, I really think we won't score 5.

Too easy this league. They're bored shitless and need a challenge.

More of the same on Tuesday?

67% possession AND four goals, I'd settle for that every week

We scored with a header, left foot, right foot, own goal. Better than perfect!

Thanks for the seat on the couch, Blu.

What a game to miss.

Sometimes football offers up justice. Utterly disgusting from Crawley and delighted to came back.

My thoughts exactly Ghost. Reminded me of Bakayoko's Morecambe winner.

You can build a club culture on the back of those kinds of results.

Quite. Results like this are just what we need to get people back.

Maybe the good news will even continue next week...

I honestly don’t know what you can say about that. Utterly bizarre game but something we’ve not seen for a long time. Passion, fight, desire and never say die. And wingers. Bloody wingers. And a manager prepared to change it in ways that we’ve not seen for years. Morley to centre back to get Matete off the right. Probably won us the game that. And Morley did admirably well too in that role against a Crawley attack that scared the life out of us all second half.

Sheehan man of the match. Best I can ever remember him playing for us. Unburdened and allowed to get round the pitch he was a revelation for me. Brave. Committed. It was the best midfield performance we’ve seen.

There are things you can pick at. That was far from a perfect performance. At times it was even shambolic. But my god it was fun. Fun we’ve not seen for a long time.

Every player gave their all on that pitch I still think Randall is a luxury we can’t really afford.

Defensively there is work to do no question about it. Crawley exposed us at times and we have some top sides to come. How we manage the system and team game to game will be interesting. I’m not convinced you get away with that setup against a top side. But the other side of the coin is that we’ve seen the best half of football in years. By a mile. It feels like a cloud has been lifted.
