Ok but I'm not being held responsible when LLS comes prowling....bobo the clown wrote:sssssssshhhhh. Let's keep it just between us two. Thanks for not mentioning it.89bwfc89 wrote:WEEK!!? How did you get away with that for 2 whole pages!?bobo the clown wrote:Filling two long term week areas ... full back ... both of whom were out of contact, and catching a highly rated youngster who was here last year seems just a case of knowing what you want. .... I think !!
A couple of "ones for the future is, again, making up for our poor showing of development from the ranks.
Beckford, as I say, could well be the precursor to Sordell .... & maybe N'Gog's exit ... bringing y funds and freeing up salaries.
Dawson would be worth stretching for in any case .... Spearing too, though Medo may mitigate that loss.
As Boris says, I think he wants a full pre season if at all possible. Plus players are available when they are and others come in for them if we don't (or, in Warnock's case, if we do !!)

aye - good advice - asking someone to justify the opinion that we should get rid of a player (Hall) that we only signed 2 days ago is never going to yield satisfaction!irie Cee Bee wrote:Dont hold your breath. Take ATs advice.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.
Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Aye, big mistake. I'd have Holden in for Pratters.Armchair Wanderer wrote:Iles is going 4-4-2.TKIZ! wrote:Iles has his say on potential lineups, including new players

As for transfers, I haven't been this transfer happy since Sammy Lee signed 27 in one day!

Being as how he's currently a free agent!!
In truth, a tad early to be speculating about line ups with the window only just open.
I'm sure this thread has yet to reveal a surprise or two.

Is beckford a done deal? And the winger? Zaha?

He'd go back to Palace, wouldn't he?throwawayboltonian wrote:Also heard a rumour from a friend, whose friend works at Bolton, that the winger is Zaha; Utd are sending him back out as they don't think he's quite ready to break into their first team. Personally I'm very skeptical as I imagine they'd want to see what he can do in at least the pre-season, but if that's true then that'd be an inspired signing.
