Loved him as I did for that period when he was faster than the Road-Runner, the reason he faded away was because he'd be more likely found in the Alma than the changing room around 1.30pm on a matchday.Bruce Rioja wrote:Why Steve Taylor, clown?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Velas look promising, particularly when you consider the fraught circumstances he was thrown into.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Nice to see the central midfielders ticking it over. Hope he is allowed to develop next season.

I'd have at least two of these. With Wylde already here, if we went in for any of them it'd look good for us. Lafferty and Naismith would be excellent.

I already mentioned Naismith IMO very good player i would also sign Steven Davis who could do a good job for us i rated him at villa
Plus Sean Davis is gone now we could do with another Davis/Davies

Pfffft.
Re: Jaffka's gossip thread on the ins and outs at the 'Bok
I'd have said that, but Coyle knows him well (signed him before) so to me I figured we'd probably have a good shout of signing him, and he might be able to coax the best out of him. On the right wages I'd say he's worth a punt.TKIZ! wrote:Naismith, yes. Lafferty, noChrisfu wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18603617

IIRC 'Boro bought a load of players from the SPL under Strachan on the basis that "Well the SPL might not be as good as the Premier League, but it's got to be as good as the Championship", which was proven wrong quite quickly.
I do rate Steve Davis though, but he'll find a Premier League club. I'm also amazed that Kyle Lafferty is only 24. Young, ex-Burnley, Scottish attacker who can also play wide. If he was part Spanish or spent time as a youngster at Real Madrid, he'd have the Owen Coyle signing full house.

Didn't OC sell him once? - supposedly because they didn't get on.Tombwfc wrote:IIRC 'Boro bought a load of players from the SPL under Strachan on the basis that "Well the SPL might not be as good as the Premier League, but it's got to be as good as the Championship", which was proven wrong quite quickly.
