DSB may be many things - and he is younger than me - but "young pup" would be pushing it!! :D

He mentioned the Dawson thing in todays Bolton news about 3 or 4 days ago. Along the lines of..

He is in our sights but looks like we will have to wait until the Feb loan window.

Obviously getting info again from somewhere. Probably the West Brom end.

McNaughton was less complimentary. Acknowledged the talent but said it was all left in training (in other words, bottler).

Where did he say that ? I'd love to read his view.

You can coach a lot to someone with high-level basics, but you can't coach courage or heart.

He'll have flourishes and his confidence may even return, but ultimately when the going gets tough he'll get going.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

McNaughton can also see chinks in the Frenchman’s armour but believes he could be better suited to top-flight football.

“He is something special in training but he’s sporadic and doesn’t do it enough over 90 minutes,” he said. “That’s where his problem is. He is one of the best trainers I have seen but needs to find a position which brings the best out of him and suits him.

“Maybe a change of scenery will help him.”

I know a cracking Indian near the South Wales Evening Post's offices, if he wants to enter into talks about the decent nosebaggeries of Abertawe.
