So why did we think we'd ever get that money back?

Sometimes it pays to invest in those with a greater chance success & of short term benefit , i.e. by which by the time the contract expires everyone shakes hands and no-one's effectively out of pocket IF he's done his job.

If there is any truth to this then it leaves me confused he's 31 and I could only see us bringing him in if we want use him as a first choice keeper
