He needs someone to bounce the long aimless balls off.
I get the feeling its like in days gone by when it took ages for a message to reach its intended recipient. Yes dougie, he's gone, we can put the ball back on the floor now.

Another reason I loath him, twitter and unsubstantiated rumour.Relentless09 wrote:Everyone brace yourselves... The Oracle has spoken or rather tweeted again.

Surprise new striker name on Bolton radar ... and it might move pretty quickly.
Any one of us could sit there making shite like this up. Claiming to be ITK when signing occurs or that something got in the way when it doesn't.
Indeed, some 17yr old today admitted doing exactly this and getting access to all sorts of national press following a lucky hit.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

At this point, bobo, you'll be asked to produce a list.
Nixon won't ever, by the way.

I'm not sure the new striker rumour is unsubstantiated. Didn't Freedman say we were after one last week?

Well, I bloody hope we are given our current stock. So it's like getting a fortune teller saying "You will die on a day with a 'Y' in it".Worthy4England wrote:I'm not sure the new striker rumour is unsubstantiated. Didn't Freedman say we were after one last week?

This is clearly laying the way for us all to say "Who??." When the name is announced, as we reach for our atlases to remind ourselves where San Marino is, and who plays in the Third Division there.

Just a guess but Glenn Murray is due back around now. He currently doesn't have a squad number at the moment and only has until the end of the month to be added to the list.

I'd call Rafa Benitez one of those and he were shit under him as well...Lord Kangana wrote:That shitferbrainsknownowt Alan Green off ov 5Live once said that N'Gog was never a footballer.
On that basis alone, I'm of the opinion that a decent manager could have an excellent player on his hands. Note the caveat.

For f**ks sake, Nixon shouldn't of raised our hopes. We are better of keeping Ngog then signing Jutkiwicz.

Seriously though, what can we expect? We're broke and trying to patch things up till the end of the season, no more.bobo the clown wrote:Oh dear.

So are we not paying this guy then? His record is terrible. Yet because he's cheaper, he's better? We may aswell just not bother!BWFC_Insane wrote:Seriously though, what can we expect? We're broke and trying to patch things up till the end of the season, no more.bobo the clown wrote:Oh dear.

No. But we may as well have one striker who doesn't score being paid a small amount that spending a fortune on another striker who doesn't score very often.boltonboris wrote:So are we not paying this guy then? The reality of the situation is that the club are CURRENTLY prioritising cutting costs over having a good football team. We don't know whether that is the right or wrong thing to be doing, but that is what they're doing right now.
