Riley to start tomorrow.

(Mirror quote: "Wanderers are without three right-back options with Dedryck Boyata joining Tyrone Mears and Sam Ricketts all on the sick list, while Gretar Steinsson has also been struggling.

Now, Riley is set to get the nod, with Coyle desperate to end the worst home record of any club in England at the weekend.")

Baptism of fire for Riley but I'd rather he get games than Steinsson.

Might as well go with someone with potential, even if only potential to be average, than go with Steinsson who has proven himself awful over the last couple of years and proven he'll make mistakes, let his head drop and let the team down on a consistant basis.

Hopefully Etherington is knackered or on the bench, ditto Pennant. Most important game of thebseason tomorrow and I am fired up. Tuncay has to play!

What are the odds on Robinson, our only available right back, getting injured within the first ten minutes?

Can't be doing Steinsson any favours being told Riley is gonna get the nod. No matter how hard you try in training the right back slot is not gonna be yours this sunday. Steinsson's been good for us before, might not be doing too well right now but last thing he needs is to be told he's not gonna be given the nod.

Mar - the voice of reason.

On another note:
Any Stoke fan expecting a win tomorrow hasn`t been a Stoke fan for long.
Down on your luck?? Haven't won at home all season???? Who ya gonna call???
But we could steal their thunder:
We have won exactly one football match away from home in the Prem in 2011 and we are now in November

Coyle burning his bridges even further with Gretar imho - he's as much as saying "Our defensive problems are right back".

Not smart management, if Riley is savaged down the right you end up with once choice at right back (Steinsson) who doesn't want to play for the manager.

I think Steinsson is a far better full back than Robinson, but Steinsson obviously isn't a Coyle signing, or one of his mates.

I'm sure I have read somewhere that Steinsson is struggling with an injury. On the other hand I may of dreamt it.

No matter how hard he tries in training he's basically shit and Coyle knows if he plays against Etherington and has yet another arsehole ripped the poor lads confidence will be gone forever.
Act of kindness dropping him if you ask me.

Time to get our 'Bad Runs Ended Here' sign out and erected on the roundabout again. Haven't they lost every post-Waffa Sunday game up to now?

Anyway - 26 years ago last night, me and 2901 other hardy souls stood in the pissing rain watching us lose 3-0 at home to Darlington. THAT is a low. So come on, and feck the miserable bastards that only lift their heads above the parapet whenever it's not looking good, for they really don't know what the shit times even look like. COME ON YOU WHIIIIIIITE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!
