Ah well. Could've done without forking out for a Wembley trip anyhow.

I take back what I said last week. Might make myself unpopular here... I know the Spurs fans were lauded for showing what really just amounted to basic human decency. And the ones that came on this site to offer their support, well that was a very nice touch and highly commendable. But, on the whole, they are a shower of f**king w**kers who referee every goddamned game they have in White Hart Lane.
Obviously, having the home-town-crowd-pleaser Webb as the man in the middle doesn't exactly help, but still.

There's no need for that !DJBlu wrote:.... And to the injury fairy will you feck off you crazy bint.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

4-4-2 on Saturday then? :/
Suppose we could shift Mark Davies back a bit and put Tuncay in the attacking midfield position, but it's hardly ideal, is it?

Can't really expect to win when we put out a mixture of reserves and first teamers. We don't have the depth to do this. Glad we got a consolation goal though.

You could have had hoboh reffing that game and he'd find it difficult to stop them winning.

Oh well, good to get that distraction out of the way. Boggers was brilliant(nice that he got MoM),good for KD to get a goal. Thought Boyata was very good tonight, not a lot learnt tho. klasnic cant start, Eagles is toss, alonso lacks pace(and aint gonna get quicker) Did we have a midfield today? Oh and what did Tuncay do wrong? Always looks ok to me so why was he given two games against two big teams then binned. He'sa at least a billion times more talented and more commited than Lead Seagull.

Not at all suggesting they didn't. But it's like United's games against Wigan, or Barcelona's against anyone. Yeah, they were a bit better, but it'd still be kinda nice if the referee had given the opposition a fair bloody crack of the whip.Verbal wrote:They f*cking annihilated us.MeMcMe wrote:I take back what I said last week. Don't really understand the complaints about the ref, apart from a complete blatant dive from Modric (who is probably the most overrated player in the league now Arshavin has left Arsenal) where he gave a free kick, he didn't have a lot to do and didn't have many decisions to make.
We got completely dicked, there was no chance of getting anything out of the game and I'm surprised we managed to get a goal, never mind one from Kevin Davies! He likes scoring against Spurs doesn't he?!
Eagles is so poor, he's probably our worst player at this moment in time. Alonso's positioning is piss poor.
Bogdan, tikaboo son, great performance.... he's a bit dodgy on corners but his shot stopping was top class.

I am just annoyed at the fact we've lost so many to injury this season.bobo the clown wrote:There's no need for that !DJBlu wrote:.... And to the injury fairy will you feck off you crazy bint.
It's not often a player is stricken with heart problems but to lose his replacement in the replay of the same game.
2 x Broken Leg
3 x Knee Ligamements
1 x Heart Attack
And the rest.
She can go jump for all I care.

No point dwelling. Should of eclipsed the scoreline of our last FA Cup defeat that one. First half I thought we stood up and were counted, second half...who knows.
Bogdan was immense, but happy with Boyata, Alonso, Reo Coker and Ricketts as well. Rest of em were anonymous.
Another injury as well...I'd still avoid 442, we looked abysmal when we went back to it tonight. Who knows though - it may have been a step too far to play there again so soon. Like I said though, first half Spurs were great but we defended really well....fell apart second half though.
Onwards to Saturday. FA Cup can feck off big time though now, fed up with it.

If Pratley is out for the season i would put Tuncay in centre midfield in his place.
