no! it will never be that time!!!
would do a better job then knight, ream and mills
No he wouldn't. He would just give away free kicks and penalties until he got sent off.
What just like our world class centre halfs knight and ream /mills do now ....?

They are shit too. But that doesn't make Kev a centre back. He's a liability when tackling in that 9 times out of 10 he gets the man and not the ball (or nothing at all). He might be a bit of a legend in Bolton, but lets not make him out to be something he isn't.

I definitely agree that in order to strengthen the defence, we should stop playing defenders.

Strikers on defence is definitely the way to go.

Buy some more strikers in January too. So that way, we can play them in midfield, to REALLY help out the other strikers at back.

I'd play myself and Ream up front. Because defenders should ALWAYS be the most advanced players.

many a tall centre forward have been converted into a centre half and done a great job in world football might be the way for big kev to go i,m sure he do job 100% better than knight/ mills/ ream .....could see a wheater (when back) big kev centre half partnership..working ...anything better than the pair at moment

I thought defenders had to be able to do things like tackle and head the ball withouy giving away fouls. On what planet have you seen Kev and these attributes?

Makes me laugh this Davies in defence suggestion. Can you imagine playing against him - just knock it in behind and it's 1-0.

Knock it past him and run, 2-0.

etc.

Try it a third time, it's a penalty and he's off..

He's got heart though. That's the only thing a defender needs.

The only ones I can think of are Dion Dublin and Gary Cahill but I don't think he should count as it was early in his career. So in other words, Kevin Davies will not make a defender of any sort never mind a good one.
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

That little number 7? He did indeed. However, think how it feels for us to see our centre backs repeatedly being out jumped by a man that looked to be a foot shorter than them. Seriously, fella, he won't have many easier afternoons.

Very true. I remember him beating Knight in the air in the first half. Can't blame poor Zat though, I mean he is only 6ft 6.

Must be tough being a centre back as small as he is.

Spearing was by far our best player but Andrews was/is tank and offers us nothing we don't already have in Spearing (who is a lot better). He can win the ball but he offers no creativity what so ever. One of the most conservative players I have ever seen, thought he banged em in!!! Eagles plays like doesn't give a feck about this club, Hollywood can feck off. We are going to struggle without a creative central midfielder while Mavies is out cos Butterfield doesn't look up to the job (I know he didn't play but he's not impressed me so far). Also for the record I thought Alonso looked very good when he came on today got some tasty balls in which Eagles and Petrov hadn't managed all game. Him and Spearing were the only players to come out with that with any credit.
