I resign.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

she only turned up because I'd told her "you'll have to see this guy's shirt to believe it!" & you let us down! Good to see you all. Big thanks again to Clappers for the dvdsBruce Rioja wrote:Lovely to meet you and Mrs Vertigo too, Fella. Really hope that the rest of your trip's a blast. Was also nice to meet Mrs Genshaw (She's a honey. Harry batting beyond his average there ) No Mr Waller though, which was a collective disappointment. Where were you, Man?William the White wrote:Good to meet you and your partner...Vertigo wrote:Nice to meet a few of you there! Would do it again if I didn't live half way across the world.

Now I am sad I missed out. I was at the pub but sat inside because I wasn't sure where anyone would beVertigo wrote:Nice to meet a few of you there! Would do it again if I didn't live half way across the world.

I actually tried looking for the pub but failed. I had it in my mind it was the harvester or Scott's.

Looks like the malaise has spread from the pitch to the stands to the pub. Bloody shambles you lot

it's Bobo - he was the manager - his new pub-finding regime and insistence that none of them were actually drinking properly has destroyed the post-match drinks meet-up.... and then his confusing and contadictory post drinks interview???Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Looks like the malaise has spread from the pitch to the stands to the pub. Nah, the team messed up the formation. Some were left inside when the others were right outside. Definitely down to individual errors.thebish wrote:it's Bobo - he was the manager - his new pub-finding regime and insistence that none of them were actually drinking properly has destroyed the post-match drinks meet-up.... and then his confusing and contadictory post drinks interview???Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Looks like the malaise has spread from the pitch to the stands to the pub. I've already resigned. I know when I'm not wanted.
Just me and Liam Trotter next time.

A top afternoon, despite the footie. Great to see a few new faces and even better to see Bruce's wallet.
Great effort from Vertigo and his other half. Safe travels you two, lovely to meet you.
Note to self: 5 pints of cider is not a great idea on an empty stomach.

I may have done, which is even more of a shame. If you happened to have seen a young man in a grey hoodie and black glasses sat near with door as you come into the bar with a young lady that was me and Mrs. TKIZ!Vertigo wrote:Was inside for a little while before I read the thread again!
