Never seen Stewart Lee until this evening. Twenty minutes and not so much as a smirk. He goes on the tw@t list with Tisdale. Not so much for being embarrassingly unfunny, but for the way that he turns to the camera and makes himself look like a massive tw@t!Prufrock wrote:No taste! ^^ He's an unfunny, miserable twunk. Fact.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

As you imply on another post, you've lived in North London, surrounded by quinoa chewing hipster Corbynistas for too long. Your sense of reality is seriously skewed.

possibly - but thank goodness they still have reruns of Last of the Summer Wine, eh? proper tory, norven humour!bobo the clown wrote:As you imply on another post, you've lived in North London, surrounded by quinoa chewing hipster Corbynistas for too long. Your sense of reality is seriously skewed.

seriously though - you should all chill!
Pru - get over yourself - just cos someone doesn't find what you find funny, funny - that doesn't mean they are stupid...
Bobo & Co - get over yourselves - just cos YOU don't find it funny doesn't mean it isn't or that Pru is deluded - it just means, errr.... YOU don't find it funny...
we laugh at different stuff - sometimes we laugh at stuff we wish we hadn't laughed at - sometimes we are mystified at why anyone else would be laughing...
here's the news - folk are different - and comedy is fickle and subjective.

One thing that is funny though is when someone gets in a right grumpy tizz over telling other people to "all chill".

Stewart Lee would love this thread by the way. Which is something we can all celebrate.

Re: Which muppet can we appoint next?
So is this Stewart fella a candidate for appointing as our new manager? Doesn't quite look the part, but.......
Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos?
Re: Which muppet can we appoint next?
With the fact that we seem to be happy to be taking our time to make this new appointment, I decided to take a look at the length of time between previous appointments.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_B ... ._managers" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Interestingly, we've not waited longer than 16 days (10 days so far this time around) to appoint a new permanent manager (ignoring the caretakers) since Allardyce's appointment. And even that one was just under a month. To get longer than a month you have to look back to the Lofthouse era.
I'm glad we've not rushed into a decision this time around. Hopefully given the extra time, we'll make the right call.

Have I mentioned that I've met Timmy Mallet and that I was on Wacaday?
