Sheehan might be a neater footballer but matete looks more dynamic and has a better engine for a two.
Matete and Thomason notably drive us forward and speed the game up. Sheehan does the opposite.

I’d try Josh in front three Bernardo Silva style.

It's a win and a clean sheet so all's well. Thanks for the couch DJ.

Sheehan, Matete and Thommo are all really good players.

Matete is noticeably off his usual level at the minute and gets caught on the ball way too much, but he will get there.

Professional job, against a poor side (but still managed to give them little sight of goal)...job well done, probably should have been more in the "F" column..

One massive plus from tonight was it answered the question, "Can Tutu play on the left in this system?"

Yes. Yes he can.

Yeah could have got a couple more there but professional and settling job. Got some food for thought Mr Evatt - will Matete and Tutu start at the weekend. Possibly Forino?

Intrigued as to why no Randell - no mention of injury. Dan and Iredale look like goners.

Cheers for the couch.

Great performance. Not sure how much change there was to Shrewsbury but it was solid from us. Should've been more but professionalism came through.

Next round hopefully a team not in our league.

I can admit I bought a new top loader recorder and tried recording the Charlton game on VHS. I'm not saying I'm superstitious but it's going on back on Ebay as I didn't use it tonight.

Barrow are through to the third round for the first time since the late 60s.

Nailed on that one, surely. The Evatt derby in the cup.

Barrow in the 3rd round and Barnsley in the 4th.

Call it the B cups.

I’d take Barrow at home, then a big team in round 4.

We can play them in the Motor Cup and the Play Offs. That'll be our 5 games sorted.

Barrow - 3rd
Fleetwood - 4th
Walsall - Quarters

That'll do for now.

Whilst we're in it I want to win it. Give me easy games.

Obviously if we get City we'll smash them too :pissed:
