Think he looks good the odd game. But has little end product. He's quick and can run in a straight line at an impressive rate, but I'd be worried if we signed him on a permanent basis......Bruce Rioja wrote:Well, as far as I can recall I've only seen him play once, and bobbins he wasn't. I bet Baptiste still has nightmares about him.BWFC_Insane wrote: Personally I think Dyer is absolute bobbins....

Not loads but you know, I have sky and watch most of the football on it. He's 31 been around a fair while, so plenty opportunities to see him play.thebish wrote:how much leicester city do you watch?? Not trying to be "expert" or owt. I haven't a clue what the lad from Boro is like. But Dyer is a fairly well known player I'd have thought?

Re: PLYMOUTH'S stupendously all singing dancing transfer thr
Apparently boro fans getting excited about off loading this striker.
Dyer is 31 so clearly fits in with developing young players. Who is full of shit Duggie or Nixon?

I suppose you're too young to remember the likes of Roger Walker and Mickey Brown?Prufrock wrote:He's been shoite when I've seen him too. Pace and absolutely nothing else. Though that will get you to a point.

We should be signing Matty Fryatt, not this no hoper Middlesborough fella.
From his wiki page:
Jutkiewicz was given the number 9 shirt, previously worn by Marvin Emnes who moved to 10, before the beginning of the 2013/14 season. He scored his first goal of the season in the shock 2-1 defeat to Accrington Stanley in the Capital One Cup. Despite his claims for Boro's only goal on the opening day fixture against Leicester, the goal was credited as a Sean St Ledger own goal. Jutkiewicz scored his first league goal in 1-0 win over Charlton a week later. Since then, he's failed to score in his last 18 games, missing chance after chance. Jutkiewicz not being able to hit the proverbial 'barn door' has left many fans frustrated with his woeful finishing.
Fantastic.

I'm guessing they are all Bernard Mendy prototypes?

He's a nailed onner at the best team in the league. He'll (Dyer) do for me!

Re: PLYMOUTH'S stupendously all singing dancing transfer thr
I have seen Dyer play - I watched the Leicester vs Burnley game on the tele and you Kieran Trippier made
him look like a right dick. Dyer was playing in left midfield and Trippier played right back and every time Trippier got the ball he drove forty yards with the ball leaving Dyer trailing behind him (in simple Dyer couldn't keep up) getting crosses into the area, on the other hand every time Dyer got the ball within a second Trippier had snatched it of him and started another one of his long run down the right - it got to the stage where Dyer wouldn't even leave his own halve. It wasent much of a surprise to me when Trippier's cross found Ings for the Burnley equaliser. I would rather have Jutkiwicz who actually works than Dyer who will run down the line and the suddenly stop like a senile old man stare around and ask himself why am I here. Dyer will be just like Ngog but he wont even score goals.

Again though, Trippier is better than owt else in this division. He'll play at the very top.bwfcdan94 wrote:I have seen Dyer play - I watched the Leicester vs Burnley game on the tele and you Kieran Trippier made

And Jutkiwiiaisizzcvp isn't a winger.
To be honest, I like Dyer from what little I've seen (mainly against us). but let's face it, how many wingers do we need in our squad before we think it's taking the piss. All this 'balanced squad' guff that DF banged on about is another thing that's making him look like a desperate shit thrower.

It looks like we're after a loan. Isn't Fryatt already on loan?IggyTheDawgster wrote:We should be signing Matty Fryatt, not this no hoper Middlesborough fella.

No, he was on loan to Sheffield Wednesday until December of last year and is now back at Hull.Worthy4England wrote:It looks like we're after a loan. Isn't Fryatt already on loan?IggyTheDawgster wrote:We should be signing Matty Fryatt, not this no hoper Middlesborough fella.
Apparently considering his future as he seems out of their plans.
