Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Ngogs fitness is his biggest issue...we'd take 2.5 i bet.
Seems strange we're not lining up a left back as well..Hope to god we dont end up with ricketts there. Cack.

I'd be happy getting rid of N'Gog, but I hope we manage to keep Alonso. There's no way we can adequately replace him.

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
Tbh i'd be gutted if either of em left, let alone both. Marcos Alonso has a lot of upside and if we can get him to sign a new deal we'd easily make a profit on him in the summer or the year after (if his recent form persists). Ngog will always be a wait and see I guess, shame he hasn't been as consistent as we'd like but he does alot of things right, and alot of these things better than our captain. Step up Eaves I guess...

So possibly Cian Bolger and Kamara in but who is the two out?Bolton ultra busy - couple in, poss couple out
Wouldn't be surprised to see N'gog leave.
Not a bad guess

If this thread doesn't reach 100 pages by the time I go to bed tonight I shall consider it inferior to it's predecessor.

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
According to the Bolton news blog we are hoping to do two deals today.
Bolger from Leicester.
And Kamara from Partizan.
And no "official" bids received for any of our players......yet.

According to SSN, that Fraser lad just decided to turn down the move.
Nae ambition lad...balls to you!Hamilton youngster Gary Fraser has stunned his manager Billy Reid by turning down a move to Championship club Bolton. "I was really shocked to be honest," said Reid, quoted in the Daily Record. "As far as I was aware the move was pretty much done and dusted. The clubs had agreed a fee and we'd moved on."

He was probably worried that he'd lose his vote in the big Scottish Independence referendum - he's probably a Nationalist.ohjimmyjimmy wrote:According to SSN, that Fraser lad just decided to turn down the move.

Aye but it seems the two that "could go" are Alonso and NGog.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:two highly crucial words in that post: official, yet.BWFC_Insane wrote:According to the Bolton news blog we are hoping to do two deals today.

Alonso is going on a free in the summer anyhow, so anything we get for him now is a bonus.
NGog going....well I think he offers something but perhaps not enough to justify his wage, especially given we have other strikers ready to play (and NGog is not getting much first team action currently).
So I don't think it's terrible if either go. Far from it.

UPDATE: Alonso is attracting interest from a wide variety of Premiership and Championship clubs.
NGog: Verbal offer received from Fulham for a loan deal with a view to a permanent move. Bolton yet to make a decision on this offer.
