Re: January transfer window...
Another one we were sort of linked with, goneGuinea international Pascal Feindouno has joined French club Monaco as a free agent on a six-month contract.
The 29-year-old midfielder was close to signing for Wigan in the English Premier League after having trials with them last week.
Feindouno told a French newspaper that Monaco signed him while he was waiting for papers to prove to Wigan that he was indeed a free agent.
He eventually signed the contract at the airport, a few minutes before the end of the transfer window

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Heard tell that one of the apparent ITK-ers on a Preston site says Bibi is off there on loan at the end of Feb, presumably that's when he is back 'fit'. Surprised it has taken the Browny connection this long to materialise, would have thought Ward would have gone there. Anyway, the Gardner deal seems like a great idea for all involved IMO.

Re: January transfer window...
Can only be a month-long loan at this time of year though = get him back fit in time for our charge to 4th spot
Re: January transfer window...
not quite a signing - but LIKE one..

Owen Coyle says having Lee Chung-yong available is like making a new £10 million signing.
Lee, 22, started in Bolton’s 1-0 win over Wolves on Wednesday, just two days after returning from spending a month away with South Korea in Qatar.
The winger has been a star performer for the Trotters this season and Coyle said: “It’s like getting a £10m player because this boy is going to be an absolute star. He’s been away the last month and he flew halfway across the world to be here on Monday.
“I spoke to him on Monday and he was shattered, but he was terrific in the game.
“It wasn’t easy taking him off – but if I’d left him on there was a chance of fatigue kicking in and we can’t risk him because he’s such a valuable player.
“So we took him off knowing we had terrific young talents in the shape of Rodrigo and Daniel Sturridge coming on – and that augurs well for the rest of the season.”

Re: January transfer window...
How often is that wheeled out to brush under a fairly average transfer window? "like a new signing". Yeah, so it's like one, but it isn't one. Thanks for that

Yes, he's a tosser, probably a prick, maybe even a massive bellend, but leave these ones for the Arsenal/Liverpool axis of whinge. (apparently the £35m Newcastle made on Carroll was spent of Phil Dowd. Who, yesterday, got the sending off right, got both penalties right, maybe should have sent Nolan off, and wrongly disallowed a Newcastle goal. Really in the Geordie's pockets, eh?)aussie_wanderer wrote:aparenlty spurs gota new member on there payroll, mark clattenburg
Clattenburg wasn't bought by Spurs, he just has a pathological hatred of BWFC.
