I think Eddie is no different to other fans and undecided if Dougie can do a job here or not.
A top half finish to this season will probably keep him employed for the first couple of months of the next one, a bottom half finish will see him gone in May. It's too late to make a meaningful change of management now (a drop into the bottom 3 excepted) and with parachute payments whittling away he shouldn't be allowed anything other than loans or bargain basement buys in January. If there is no further improvment this season, it will at least give us time in choosing a decent successor rather than paying over the odds for the next flavour of the month!

I think Eddie is unique among fans just now.

No idea about his views on Freedman though.

I wouldn't be too happy if Eddie based all his decisions from the heart of a fan... Unless he was going to spend a shit load on top class players, in which case... Fill your boots Eddie lad!

^^ Every time I see anything twittered I give a little prayer of thanks that I decided not to sign up.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

It will end with Tony H wanting a scrap at the local playground. Just tell him to meet you at the next home game and I bet you it ends up being a lonely date.

p.s be sure to give him directions 8)

Lets hope so....we are going nowhere with Freedman, he's an awful clueless inept 'Mike Bassett' type manager I actually can't believe that he's still in the job, we could give him another 2.3,4 or 5 years and we would still be where we are now - we have made absolutely no progress at all since he's been at the club and unfortunately we'll make no progress until he leaves the club.

He's as poor a manager as we've ever had

PG needs to change at Piccadilly and at Milton Keynes to get to Northampton and find our new manager.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Yeah, I'm with you on this. He's a poor manager who is incapable of dragging the team anywhere but the players are too good to lose every game, which doesn't help us either way. He should have gone after the Blackburn or maybe Yoevil game for me, and if that had happened, our replacement manager would have had 12 additional games to do something with our season. Look at what Steve McClaren has done with Derby in only 11 games in charge. He's won 9, drawn 1 and lost 1, which is exactly what we needed to do and should have done when the season could have been saved but instead, we stuck with a failure of a manager despite appalling results and the only thing it's done for us is ensure that this season is a write off.

We're backing the wrong horse. Anyone who still thinks Freedman should be our manager is either deluded or they must have resigned themselves to mediocrity because it's clear he is incapable of taking us forward.
