24 quid is quite reasonable. What were you expecting? FV or whoever 'might' make a gesture when/if they take over but I presume this price has been set by the administrators. It's pretty comparable with other places and just 3 quid more than last Saturday.
Personally, I'm just delighted we can put the game on and I've still got a team to watch.
It's neither reasonable nor value for money if we play a similar team to the one on Saturday. And other clubs are pricing their tickets based on them putting out a team full of seniors capable of competing.
But the administrators have presumably set the prices at an amount they feel will either generate the most revenue or will at least generate enough income to make sure the match goes ahead. If overpaying this weekend means I'm doing my bit to keep the club going, I'll overpay.

However, I should add that I understand completely people's objections.

Re: Administration and recovery
Great then. You won't be watching reserve team football. You'll be watching both sides put out their best available sides. That's if you're not at home drying out your tea bags for a 2nd brewBertie Wooster wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 7:38 pmBy jove congratulations Mr super fan, I doff my hat to you sir.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 7:18 pmAre you two both for real??

The last time I checked I was real, also if you read correctly I did say that £24.00 was quite reasonable & I do agree that it is comparable with other places, however IMO just not for reserve team / U20 football.

Re: Administration and recovery
I honestly think that £15 and £10 would've been perfect. Plenty will look at 'from' let's not forget that, £24 and just think you can 4uck that for a game of soldiers. To watch the kids play 3rd rate hoofball? I'm as passionate about our club as anyone else, but I won't have my loyalty milked by a bunch of c*nts who're currently averaging £370 per hour.
May the bridges I burn light your way
Re: Administration and recovery
Can't believe that some people are moaning about prices - fer feks sake - just be thankful that we still have a club - and remember that OUR club needs OUR support

And that's just on the Administration, we haven't even begun on the recovery...

I can completely see both sides of this inevitable argument.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 7:55 pmI honestly think that £15 and £10 would've been perfect. All I'll say is that the young team on Saturday played less hoofball and more possession passing than arguably any Wanderers team I've seen since Todd's day.
Now I daresay several folks have immediately considered the old jokes about "We'll teach that out of 'em", and many will sharpen their knives on their opinion of the current manager, and one game is a small survey sample, and all the rest of it... but I wouldn't want it to go unnoticed that the kids looked more comfortable on the ball than the seniors have since, I dunno, the FA Cup semi season.
Maybe - just maybe - it was because they got whole-hearted, unequivocal support, and lots of it.

We just wanted a club to watch last week. Suspect admin have worked out what the most cost effective price v numbers of fans v other costs is. Makes sense. Not a football decision, an admin one.
Just get on with it an back the club. If t stops people going who want to moan and shout Parky out so be it. Bet it doesn’t change the Coventry attendance.

Agree with this too btw - hoping the first official game of FV (or whoever!) reign prices can be nearer this...Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 7:55 pmI honestly think that £15 and £10 would've been perfect. Re: Administration and recovery
Here lies the problem with Bolton. Everybody wants someone else to sort out the problem. If they don't then it's their problem. Always got someone to blame. If £24 is required from a core of ticket sales then that's what it takes. The administrator will not offer lower sales for the sake of atmosphere, fans deserve it or what you think is acceptable. They need cash to pay salaries. If you think it's too much then stay away. Bolton Wanderers is close to death and cannot afford to subsidise tickets for people who don't wish to pay more than £15. Yes it's shit but it's what is needed.

Re: Administration and recovery
We’re an expensive club to run. Why aren’t we shutting tiers for this game? The comments section of BN (I know) makes such depressing reading. If people don’t want a club, fine, but you know they will be the first to moan, blame it on Parky, not getting a freebie for Brentford etc etc. Clubs on its ARSE. Go and support a set of lads who want to play for the club (and by all accounts made a good account of themselves). This isn’t aimed at anyone on here...just the BN commenters!

I'm at a National League game this evening and have paid £15 for my ticket. I think it's a fair price. But, then again, I live in the affluent south east where we use £50 notes as toilet roll.

We were charging more than this tail end of last season when we weren't paying any fvking bills. We only have 24 home games + maybe a couple in Cup.

Prices for our last opening home game in league 1?
30 quid! Prompting talk of a boycott by Sheffield United fans.
3 years later, administration, inflation and brexit on the horizon and the price is 6 quid cheaper. Bargain!
