I thought it was all about the age of the player at the start of the competition? Ie if you're 21 (they cite a birth date) at the start of qualifying then you're in

The formation is supposedly going to be a 3-4-1-2 (the new coach recently introduced his 3-4-2-1 formation on his debut). I'll let you guys know how it pans out; if successful it could perhaps give OC a different option up front.
Just to add to this, seems the new offensive strategy is specifically built around CYL (as it should be) so he should be getting a lot of touches. Will let you know how he does.

Lescott in Cahill not.

Absolute disgrace unless Cahill is injured.

It's an understandable call. This is the hardest game, and they know each other. Cahill should start against a few of the shit teams whether or not Ferdinand and Terry are fit though.

As if we were expecting anything else.

It may have been mentioned elsewhere tonight, but Fabio Capello is a c*nt.

A small part of me hopes we lose tonight, due to a huge Lescott gaffe involving his stupid head, some swiss cheese and a big fook-off divot.

You want Wayne Rooney involved aswell?

In other news, Ebi Smolarek has just come on for Poland against Australia. The crowd seems to love him in Poland. He did make one good run for us didn't he? Put a shot just over the bar late on somewhere?

Thats because he was played next to a world class striker.
