No problem... just wouldn't want you needlessly thinking it was at your expense.

I'll translate for you all,SonsOfThunder wrote:Have you all missed this little gem of a quote at the bottom of the article?
CYL to reporters: "Bolton's goal this season is to stay in the EPL [Premier League] but I would like to lead Bolton to mid-table."
The cheek on that fellow.
That Ginger knob has gone so we are not content with trying to survive, we want mid table minimum!!! or I'm off

Because of where he comes from he's up there with Cahill's value, need him on this new contract.

With respect, Jakerbeef, that's a ridiculous call. Though I'd be surprised if they didn't both employ the same agent.Jakerbeef wrote:I blame Ji-Sung Park. He's no doubt been having a word in his shell-like. Probably Utd-related dissent.
Let's not forget though that this lad's stock has risen and is still rising since he joined us and the deal's no longer all-on-our-terms. Course, if Megson wasn't such a shithouse then he'd have recognised the true extent of the lad's potential and would have signed him on a decent contract, mostly in the club's favour.
May the bridges I burn light your way
I was joking! But cheers for the respect; I surely don't deserve it.Bruce Rioja wrote:With respect, Jakerbeef, that's a ridiculous call. There's barely an issue I'd say. There'll certainly be no tantrum-fuelled holdout and demand for a biggermove if his wages aren't double/tripled. Sensible lad 'n whatnot.
You say the most shocking things, you really do, so you want Megson to sign him, unproven and give him top whack wages straight away? He did it the right way, paid for him, give him a small contract, if he proves himself he'll improve it! Never forget who brought him here!Bruce Rioja wrote:With respect, Jakerbeef, that's a ridiculous call.
