I see you haven't forgotten his snub a couple years back either.

I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully I'll see the team play (live) the way they did against Newcastle.

All those who've posted their appreciation of the match preview... you don't have to be a pro like DSB. Try writing one for a future game and submitting it to us here at TW... it's a piece of Christmas cake!

Have a great Christmas all! :oyea:

Looks like a 3-1 or 3-2 win for the Whites, let's hope that the weather improves and that its a great atmosphere from a great crowd.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Thank you for that, DSB. And for the dedication. Carl came out of hospital today. We're very glad to have him home for Christmas. But he'll not be at the match. He's much too ill.

His ticket is being used by the grand daughter he took to Away games at - among others - Portsmouth, Bristol, Coventry, Newcastle, West Brom and many others, when she was a Junior White and he coming up to 70... She's just turned 30 now... And he near 85... Over 50 years separating them, but the Wanderers bringing them close together whatever the result - like, losing midweek games in the Carling Cup at Sheffield United... And winning THAT GAME at Hull, in what my daughter still says is the best game ever...

Visiting him in hospital after the Blackburn game I had to go through it, bit by bit, the goals, the substitutions, the atmosphere, before we got onto 'How are you feeling?' etc.

Great news regarding one of the greats. Have a very good Christmas, one and all. Might see you at the match, eh?

Only scored my tickets for Boxing Day today - couldn't get two together anywhere. Me and my mate are sitting one in front of the other in the North Stand (which is the only one that I've never been in) Wit woooo!

Upper, I hope, because the lower is the lair of the demon drummers.

If we can shut this (mind the spoonerism) Chris Brunt down and stop his crosses then I think we'll be reet.
I'd rather support Bolton than be you.

Last season I sat one row back and just four seats away from the Cozy Powell appreciation society. . They're alway down front and right behind the nets so it shouldn't be so bad. Must admit though that solitary wallop very time the keeper takes a goal kick is a bit off-putting.

They're a lot quieter at the back of the lower tier...especially should you happen to have a really thumping hang-over. I know this to be a FACT! :(
