Over the last 7 games we have only won 2 and drawn one for a meagre 7 points.

which is what megson achieved over his entire stay - and kept us up... 1ppg

coyles ppg for thios season so far is 1.36 - which is very respectable indeed

on that average we can expect to garner 9.5 points over the next 7 games.

Indeed if we are going through our inevitable "slump" or "poor period" and we're getting 1ppg still then we're not doing too badly in my book.

also - we have reached january - and our goal difference is in the black! it is PLUS 5!!!

it is the 6th best goal diff in the league - just for comparison... West Ham's is MINUS 16!

don't be ridiculous - Coyle would be utterly and completely MAD to even consider the Liverpool job even if it was offered. why swap a club on the up doing his reputation no end of good with a club on the slide that would take him with them???

Personally I think if offered the Liverpool job we won't see Coyle for dust. What you've just said there is almost word for word what Burnley fans were saying when Megson was sacked.

Coyle will not be on Liverpool's "list" should they sack Hodgson - they are not going to appoint a manager with less of a proven track record than the one they just sacked...

but then - if the Daily Mail says it...

The new owner while no experience at football is no fool. I very much doubt he would agree to Benitez. Mind you my prayers are with you as well even though I feel Little Sam deserves a shot.
