"Elmander shoots! No, it's Taylor."
"Taylor tackled by... No it's Davies."
Whole new meaning to "You White Men"

Harking back to the Chelsea game some new'un was sat in front of me and managed to confuse the decidely not-White Muamba with Taylor. Was a bit odd.

You will of course forgive me for mixing Korea up with a third world country 'm sure. My error.

Has South Korea ever been classed as Third World?

Wolverhampton is still a shithole, though, wouldn't you agree?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

William the White wrote:Just to say... there is no longer a 'third world' - no big deal, but the designation no longer works... First world - capitalist... Second world - 'communist'... But I'd also like to know who TANGO's 3rd world best player is...

Re: English Wanderers
no. I know several people from South Korea - mostly living/studying in Swansea... (add your own punchline...)boltonboris wrote:Has South Korea ever been classed as Third World?
I suspect they would not be pleased with Tango's labelling...

It's okay TD, common misconception.
Like when people think Samsung is Japanese.
Speaking of which, and perhaps better asked in a new thread, when is our contract with 188 over? I'd imagine a few Korean conglomerates might be interested in a sponsorship.

It'd be a brave marketing man who invested his cash into us on the back of Lee being present
He could leave days into any deal

South Korea used to be very poor. Their rise and development is quite staggering. In the 1950's shortly after the war with the North they were concidered to be less developed than the Philippines. It is quite remarkable what they have accomplised in such a relatively short time.boltonboris wrote:Has South Korea ever been classed as Third World?

Hopefully the next sponsor doesn't have an orange logo.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.
