Site Moderation
• Do you agree with TW’s moderation policy? Yes - works well. Only exception is that I am not sure that lifetime bans for regular posters is right. I prefer lengthier bans for repeated offences so we don't lose posters who on the whole have something to offer.
• What can be done to improve the forums and site moderation? Can we have an embedded u tube player thingy? Fix the spoiler app. Site modding is fine.

• Do you agree with TW’s moderation policy? Yes. This is your site. Not a democracy or place of free speach. The way you moderate sets the tone of the forum. I find this forum by far the best of the Bolton forums, and that is a credit to your guys and your efforts much more that ourselves.

• What do you least like about the forums? Easily the best BW site - the forums are fine
• What could encourage you to contribute more often? The return of gary megson in the Trotters forum (despairingly)... The death by strangulation of the entire coalition cabinet in the Banter (joyfully)

• Do you think the forum categories are correct? If not, what should they be? I doubt if it's easy to produce, but, given the deserved popularity of the TW Spy... A 'Do They Mean Us?' one could be a winner.

When people are saying that the site isn't mobile friendly, have you got an suggestions as to what could improve it?

I browse the site on my mobile fine, I'm using an Android phone and you can just zoom in and out when needed. Do people have trouble on specific devices?

yes - make it LESS mobile friendly - we don't want those sort on here....

If you have a look at wanderersways on your phone you will see what we mean, it's kindda adapted to make it easier to use on a mobile, where as this site is like viewing the website on a comp, but with a much smaller screen so it involves lots of zooming in & out and panning around. This is a particular pain when not in a wifi zone too.

Just checked out the ww's option for mobiles, pretty nice.

I would be able to create a skin myself I reckon, just get rid of a load of crap. If people aren't bothered about avatars on a mobile etc then it should be too much trouble to get it done.

Yeah think you can lose avatars on the mobile version, and sigs and stuff.

I update from my iphone from time to time. Bit fiddly but passes

I don't check on my mobile that often but the avatars are a pain. They seem to take up the whole screen. Please get rid of.

What can be done to improve the front page? given the Norm the Jedi's regular column is archived - it ought to have at least ONE article in it.. also the multiple doubled/tripled articles in "set pieces"

I have sorted the article duplication, it was something I was meant to sort out after the new design went live.

• If yes, how often? When I'm very bored. Bookmark takes me straight to forums.
• If no, why not? Not sure, the vast majority of the time the quality is pretty good, but it just seems there's a match preview/report on every other website, BBC, Sky etc...and I'd rather get down to a more interactive debate in the forums. Tend to read the 'other' sorts of article though.
• What can be done to improve the front page? Definitely NOT dirty horrible red. Bans for all those suggesting it.
• Would you consider writing for the front page? Aye. Have done before, quite cathartic at times, more people should have a go at some different sorts of article.

• What do you least like about the forums? When I refresh and none of them have gone red!

• Do you think the forum categories are correct? If not, what should they be? Fantasy pretty redundant, bet 90% of recent posts there are Hoboh and pals after 'full houses'. Bannable offence! Otherwise fine. Don't like it when you go on other clubs' forums and there are about 28 different categories.

• Do you agree with TW’s moderation policy? Fine. Certain folk I wish were still around, but can't really complain about why certain decisions were made.
• What can be done to improve the forums and site moderation? Sort out spoiler thing, although that thread where it is introduced looks pretty funny now, like folk have gone mental. Also function for deleting PMs in the inbox is very clunky. Keep forgetting how to do it and then having to search about again.
