maybe he'll come along and explain. but - fwiw..

1. comment about players who have lots of injuries always being injured - so cut your losses
2. Holden has had two lengthy lay-offs already
3. cue: sarky comment from a1

rest assured - a1 does not think we should get rid of Holden - I'll bet this used blob of blu-tak on it...

I'm not saying he thinks we should get rid of Holden. I'm pointing out its what he does as a response to everything. Someone suggests we should bin off a proper long term crock. He relates this to a person who has just received a bad injury, who before that (and and still, without playing another game) will be our player of the season. (And we all know he will be)

So, in short, what I'm saying is, stop talking bollox.

Players who are injured all the time don't just stop being injured.
sack holden off as well too.

It's probably the type of injury.

You can break your leg and the bone heals.

Sean Davis has a long term knee injury. Not being fit for any length of time for a few years you have to ask is he going to be able to play a full season for anyone in the future?

Also worrying that Holden also is out with a knee.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

i'm surprised someone didnt suggest payin' sean off just so we could get some unknown foreigner's wages paid. like juan riquelme or colins msumba.

Thank God we are ditching the dross and crocks!

A1 don't be a tool, Holden is not like JOB & Davies, sneeze and they are injured (btw seeing JLS wern't doing much he was injured enough!). He's been injured because he is a combative player, nowt else, 'fraid Ricky G falls into the always crocked group now.

If Sean Davis can stay fit (as unlikely as it is), let's see what he does in his remaining year before casting him to the scrap heap eh?

Its entirely possible that Holden will end up injury prone.

Who knows?

We all hope not.

But facts are since he's been here he's had 2 serious injuries. He's been unlucky. Its not like a recurring hamstring or owt.

But these injuries take their toll. There is currently nothing to suggest Sean Davis won't make a recovery from his unlikely injuries and come back and do well.

Certainly no more evidence than there is for Holden, except for perhaps age.

But Davis has played a hell of a lot more games at this level, so his body has already shown it can stand up to the rigours season after season. He's been unlucky since moving here.

Get him fit though and back to his best and he'd be a great partner for Holden.

Why do you say that? I'm sure that the idea of putting in all the time, the effort, the medical expertise and incumbent expense have been more geared towards trying to resurrect a very talented player's career with us, rather than yours of - yeah, let's put in all the time, effort and expense - then feck him off! :conf:

He's a HWSNBN signing, he's probably on a good amount of money, I say if we can get Savis fit let's see for a year what we can ge out of him.
