We'll lose one of them. Call it 'the comedown' or something.

There were several times during Allardyce's era that we'd win a bundle of games on the trot only to get beat by Charlton, Sheff Utd or some other unlikely outfit.

Simply put we need to put in performances with effort, like Sunday. A relegation team can easily beat us this time of season because as yesterday shown, it's about who wants it more.

But then, we all knew this. ;)

I wasn't saying we'll win them all, but they're all winnable if we play well. By the time we get to City I doubt much will matter, it'll probably all be sorted.

We didn't lose 5-0 at Stoke.

My mistake. TO Stoke was meant. Not trying to sound as awkward as but after the winding up I gave to the rover at work after te home match, I'm terrified of a thrashing there!

If this was on a weekend I'd have gone but I'm glad it was Wembley instead.

My humble thoughts...

1) Fulham can defend corners.
2) Fulham don't want to pass the ball into the net.
3) We drew at our place.
4) We beat them in the cup.

Doesn't look like we'll be getting anything here!

Oh they're certainly all winnable. In agreement there; but I just also think 1 or 2 are er, lose-able conversely.

Gut instinct says

Fulham (A) - Draw
Blackburn (A) - Loss
Sunderland (H) - Draw
Blackpool (A) - Win
City (H) - Loss

But it would be nice to be wrong and catch Everton, who have a tricky run-in themselves.

The very fact that we beat Arsenal, undeniably a superior team overall, shows well enough that nothing is certain in football. We won largely because of a hundred percent effort, team spirit and desire to right the wrong of last week's debacle. Right now a few teams are fighting for their very survival and much depends on how well their managers can get them playing together for the cause. Eleven consecutive seasons in the top flight shows well enough that we have a lot of what it takes. How many teams must look at us and wish they had some of the players we maybe dismiss a bit too lightly sometimes?

Football itself today has made it so that we'll probably never win the league or the European Cup as teams did in days of yore. It's all about money and the superior talent goes where it is. I reckon we've done brilliantly this year to be where we are, and it's all down to what we are and what we aleady have. Divisions four, three, two etc are somewhat distant memories now, but they still exist waiting for the unwary. Bolton have come a long way and that's something to be mightily proud of for me. A glance at once-mighty top-flight contenders like Leeds, Ipswich, Leicester, Nott's Forest etc keep it all in perspective and stop it getting too carried away with itself, at least for me. Carry on you Whites, you're doing fine.

In-form Bolton striker Daniel Sturridge is hoping to recover from an ankle knock that forced him off during Sunday's win over Arsenal.

Now that's a real blow. Looks like Elmander back up front and M Davies and Muamba in the midfield. Taylor might well get the left side instead of Petrov after his display Sunday. No more injuries please. :(

Jussi.
Steinsson, Cahill, Knight, Robinson.
Lee, Muamba,Davies,Taylor,
Elmander,Davies.

Put Taylor on instead of Petrov again ( who can be put out to pasture as far as i'm concerned ) Elmander up front - God Bless him he tries and tries in midfield but he's just a bit crap there and gives the ball way too much. Leaves us relying on 90 mins from Mark Davies. Give it a go.

Can Owen keep them motivated for all remaining games - must have been a big effort from a lot of them on Sunday

I'd go with that team IF Mavis is fit enough to complete 90 mins if not our hero from Sunday, Cohen, might get a start.

It's got a black person in it, so it counts. Well, if the official site is anything to go off.
