Not as much as relegation to the championship

Re: Time to go
Yup - gotta go now.
Said I'd judge at the end of October.
Inept against Norwich, inept against Sunderland and inept again today.
Oh and just for good measure, we were pretty poor in the first half against QPR.
Bye, bye Owen.
Hughes or MON if possible for me.

He goes.....
.....unless he knocks on Gartsides door, admits his deficiences, asks for help, agrees to get shut of his equally out of their depth Burnley chums and we get somebody who knows what he's doing in
He can do the PR and the fella who has an idea runs the team

Yep, neither will fancy us long term, offer em big money to keep us up till the end of the season.Worthy4England wrote:Yup - gotta go now.

Quite frankly we are beyond the Sammy Lee levels of shambles now.
Re: Time to go
One last game vs Stoke next week for me. To see if its the payers. If they can't get motivated against the team that kick our ass in April then its really time.
I was so pleased to see the appointment of Coyle and last season (up to the semi) was by far the best i have seen. Last game for me next sunday. Come on Coyle.

I don't know why, but I still don't agree. I'm in the 'who can we get who's better?' camp at the moment.

On second throughts let's not. Half our current starters didn't play in April, four of them weren't even at the club!m_taylor wrote:One last game vs Stoke next week for me. To see if its the payers. If they can't gte motivated against the team that embrassered in April then its really time.

Re: Time to go
13 defeats from last 15!
There is no rational sensible argument for keeping Coyle. None at all!

Re: Time to go
I think people would argue they can't be worse. I would love to see Coyle turn this around i really would. One last big effort from the fans next sunday to create an atmosphere to help and not just boo when the first pass goes a miss. Cos that can't help.Beefheart wrote:I don't know why, but I still don't agree. I'm in the 'who can we get who's better?' camp at the moment.

Re: Time to go
If/when he goes who would be the caretaker? Isn't it all Coyle's buddies these days? David Lee? John Henry?
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Incredible stats. Really curious what he will say today. Because it's indefensible.

Even a 5-0 victory next week would not negate the fact we are a poor, poor side. We have shown relegation form since last march. We are inept at doing the simplest of things. We can't defend, we have no midfield, we don't score enough goals. On present form we will be down by New Year. We can't afford to wait that long. We can't afford to wait until next week.
