Jesus wept.

Money ruined the damn game for all but the tiny privileged few. Anyone else old enough to remember when we just used to lie awake worrying about going down? Not about whether we could afford to go down. Why does being a fan now have to involve a working knowledge of balance sheets and debt restructuring? If I wanted spend time thinking about that sh1t I would have become an accountant.

Call me a rose-tinted nostalgist, communist, I don't care. It's how I feel.
