That must be the understatement of the year - what is it now 15 defeats in the last 18 games or something like that ?Annoyed Grunt wrote: What I meant was, he has a point about the 3/4 points from mid table bit (its more like 7, providing everyone else loses). I do think, there is a cause for concern.
We must be close to breaking premiership records for the number of defeats or lack of draws or just general shitness....we're going to end up giving Derby and Sunderland a run for their money when they went down with about 20 points !
Gartside is just like the players....out of touch with the fans, as long as they are ok and earning plenty - fcuk the fans !

You're no fan though, are you? You're just this prick that only ever appears when the chips are down. You never offer anything up in relation to how things might be improved, ever.Peter Thompson wrote:That must be the understatement of the year - what is it now 15 defeats in the last 18 games or something like that ?Annoyed Grunt wrote: What I meant was, he has a point about the 3/4 points from mid table bit (its more like 7, providing everyone else loses). But as you where...carry on spouting utter shite as usual

Re: Gartside
Geeez what b/s
He was on 606 on five live around half an hour ago and was spot on. Main points from the interview;
* Any team would struggle with 11 players injured, preached further patience but admitted the fans had a right to be disapointed.
* Hinted heavily his disagreement with the Cahill sending off although didn't want to express any further at the risk of being fined. Compared the incident to Luiz against Newcastle and how the interpretation of the rules is inconsistant at best, a position which the minnows of the league appear to come off worse.
* Although he disagreed with today's sending off said that being subject to 5 sendings off so far in the season wasn't merely unlucky or just down to the referee on the day.
*Did little if anything to back Coyle openly, just the comment about fans being patient and said to his credit Coyle hadn't complained about the injuries and just got on with the job at task.
Imo Gartside is a top chairman and has done well by the club. I know many of my Leeds supporting mates would kill for such a chairman and don't know what some fans on here expect. If he feels a change in management is in order, or at least some sort of shake up behind the scenes, I hope it is kept behind the scenes. Slating the management on a radio phone in isn't exactly the way to go and i'm glad he hasn't stooped to such.
P.S I am not, and have never met, Big Phil...ok...

Bruce - your not worth it sunshine....your a nobody, you were on another thread going on about being a CB radio enthusiast - which says it all really, enough said cowboy, met loads like you over the years - pathetic !
You may have been going since 1974 - but it depends on how many games doesn't it, but I'm not getting drawn into childish name calling....after all that's your forte
If you went home and away back in the Aldershot, Notts County, Cambridge, Southend days I'll probably know your face
But you carry on -you call me what you like....you must get a hard on keep calling me a pr*ck - grow up !

Interesting. Firstly, read my post re CB radio people and you'll then realise that you've just made a bigger tit of yourself than I'd made you out to be, which actually wants some doingPeter Thompson wrote:Bruce - your not worth it sunshine....your a nobody, you were on another thread going on about being a CB radio enthusiast - which says it all really, enough said cowboy, met loads like you over the years - pathetic !

Secondly, you probably will recognise me should we meet if you have actually followed us to the grounds that I have, across not only all four divisions, but away against non-league opposition in the FA Cup too.
It still doesn't alter the fact that you only ever pitch up when times are bad though, does it?
On you go...........

I do wonder about our complaining fans, sometimes. What would anyone expect Gartside to say ? ".... Oh yes, we're really in the mire now and feck, if we don't sort it out we're buggered. To be honest, we may as well jack it in now .... oh, & just between us girls, I'm sacking that skinny little scotch tosser tomorrow !" ???
Jeez, he's meant to say positive things. That's his PR role. Behind the scenes I hope he's worried as hell, I bloody am. But it's also his job not to panic.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

So anyway, I agreed with Gartside. He was right 2 years ago, he's right now.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Gartside
By the way, if Coyle took us unbeaten til Boxing Day, I'd reconsider but unlike Megson, he won't manage it

Its not my decision, its the chairman's. I trust him to make the best ones for the benefit of this club.

Point scoring? FFS it's a message board where they are debates, sometimes heated ones.jaffka wrote:is this why some perceive that you are just point scoring?BWFC_Insane wrote:Ha that's honestly the biggest laugh I've had on here for ages.Lord Kangana wrote:Its not my decision, its the chairman's. If that's what you call point scoring then fair enough.
Wish Coyle was a lot better at point scoring though.
