Might be blindingly obvious but i've always got the feeling Gartside has had no choice but to stick with Coyle this season, perhaps this is due to financial constraints or some other factor we're not wise to but I wonder how much Saint Owen has really tested his patience this season with some of his selections.

I guess it's just the prospect of losing some players who aren't out-of-contract, I'm mainly thinking of NRC, Holden and LCY. Even so, a few frees and I think we'll def be top half at least.

True, the LCY/Holden injuries probably mean they aren't going anywhere. Not sure about NRC, prob depends if he'll improve anyone's EPL squad.

There's no way we're coming back up when we need to score three goals per game just to offset the three we'll let in.
Unless he does something about our defence, I fear another relegation battle.
