Gartside should never, ever have made such a statement, and it's no wonder fans of lower league clubs are having a quiet chuckle, and understandable too.
Many love the idea of "smaller" clubs, Wigan, Bolton, Swansea, Norwich etc, taking on the big boys (the big boys seem to keep getting bigger, maybe Mr Gartside should have gone for a closed shop of three, Chelsea, Manure and Citeh) but when directors want a "closed shop" it wrangles with those outside, and was always one day going to come back and haunt him.

Absolutely mate, sorry to see Wanderers get relegated as they are a decent club with a good history, but that w.....r Gartsides comments annoyed me, and now it's a case of reaping what you sow.
