We had a shoeing at Bramall under Phil Neal... 4-0 IIRC. He brought off Peter Barnes (a winger, kids) for himself to keep the score down (again, kids, ask a grown-up).

And another thing. When you look on Youtube for highlights of a game now, the place is inundated with clips of people's games from their space invader machines. What the juddering feck goes through someone's head whereby they imagine that the rest of the world might be even remotely interested in whatever it is that the spotty bastard's got up to in their back bedroom? :conf:

Bane of my life, Bruce. Professional, that is.

Anyway, that clip you found: good to see that defensive disorganisation is deeply ingrained...

Aye. Todd played JP at right-back with disastrous consequences which saw him get withdrawn at half time. :hang:

Yeah, on that first goal you can see him - just about: he's in a different postcode...

I've done this one to death, but scarily familiar! Except it was an emergency for Todd, not a solution to signing someone from Burnley!

You can get a direct tram from the train station to Hillsborough. Dead easy, takes about 15-20 mins.

Will be going to this. Love sheffield as a city and going to Hillsborough is like going to a 'proper' football ground.

That 5-0 is always the story the old fellas behind me bring up when talk turns to things being shit.

Apparently the car park steward told them that Wednesday were terrible and Bolton would have an easy win.. When they left at half time with the score at 5-0, the pub across the road had a stripper on. Halcyon days no doubt :)

No more 5-0's please. Just bought ticket online. Will be my first game of the season as no-one I normally go with is bothered at the moment. I remember the Hillsborough ground being big but can't remember much about it, will have to get the phone out and take some pics this time.

First chance we've had at coming up against old boy Jermaine Johnson as well (didn't against us when he signed for Oldham). He's been at Sheffield Wednesday a while now.

The man lives (or lived I think the one time I met him) nearer Soho than Sheffield. I'm sure he could find more, ahem, fulfilling, ways of spending it if he needed. It's a fecking disease.

Jimmy Phillips at right back against DiCanio.

He wasn't even a good left back.

I still get cold sweats, I swear we never really recovered from that result.

Didn't the Bury PA Announcer get sacked after saying something like 'I can't wait to tell you the half time score from Hillsborough...'
