I can't see anything other than a draw again unfortunately.

I hope I'm wrong.. I just think the pressures of a baying home crowd who take delight at our players playing shit, so they can say "I told you so" to their mates is too much for some of our players.

Hopefully, we'll be brave and stick to the managers method of keeping the ball and being patient despite the protests of the morons who boo when we launch it and boo when we don't.

On the plus side game or two before Christmas usually draws the lowest home crowds.

So possibly the idiots won't be there.

Or more likely it'll be extra dead, and extra quiet so that their berating can be heard even more loudly and clearly.

I'm going to give it 10 minutes for the guy in front of me to turn round and tell me how "this is the worst Bolton side he's seen in 50 years" then turn back round to abuse Mears/Knight/Andrews/Eagles/Davies delete as appropriate.

Christmas games usually bring out even more idiots baying for players to smash it forward/get it down/or berate players.

I'll be there in the ESL 256 if anyone wants to give us a wave :)
Pfffft.

Today's B.N. has Afobe's making noises about showing Charlton what they missed?

Ha!
I wonder if he realises what an idiot he sounds. Here he is slagging off Charlton by claiming his dad refused to sign him for Charlton because he 'can play at a higher level' than Charlton and he's playing against, well, Charlton!
I love this no shxt sherlock bit too "... I was just six-years old at the time. That was Under-7s level...".
When's the bus due back to Arsenal - he needs to be on it.

Powell is up for Manager of the month.
Give it him. Curse will strike.
They have been really good away from home Unbeaten in 7. We'll duly give them the gift of their first away defeat in a while! :D

3-1 to Bolton.

I can only assume, given previous discussions, that Afobe really 'puts a shift in' in training. Which goes to show how one-eyed that policy is.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Isn't this game tomorrow?

If we play like we can play (second half at Huddersfield) we can get a win but the two injuries are worrying. Mears is back tho so Ricketts could play in the middle which would look fairly solid.

Word to the wise, if they're listening... Saw Charlton play Sheff Utd last year in League One. They won 2-0 away and the second goal was a header from a set-piece with the scorer having been brought on especially for it. Let's be careful if anyone makes any subs (us or them). Charlton were top of the league at the time, not as good in this league.

The team for tomorrow is;

Bogdan, Mears, Knight, Ricketts, Warnock, Andrews, Spearing, Butterfield, Chungy, Eagles, K.Davies

I think that is the best side we can put out considering the injury to Mavies. Some would swap Mears for Riley but personally I think that is our strongest Xi.
