Aye. If I had N'Gog's ability, I reckon I could be be a pro footballer. If I had Pratley's (I'm not convinced I don't :D) I don't think so.

"A song for N'Gog" ... excellent. I think we could devise a few. The rhyming options for hunt, hazy and and puceless are not endless, but entirely adequaye. Unlike him.

I always thought you could shoehorn Ngog into "Don't Go" by Yazoo.

But that might be too complicated for a terrace chant
I now have an Alison Moyet / Vince Clarke earworm. Thanks for that! :D
And you wouldn't want either of those in your ear...
What a hero, What a man...... Ooooh, what a bad foul...

I think we all have Pratley's ability...

Well .... that would explain where it's gone.

Maybe one of us should give it him back.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I'm now picturing each Wanderers fan in turn, standing up saying "No, I've got Pratley's ability".

I'd trouble to stand up if I thought I could claim his salary.

Yeah, pretty much same here. I try not to dislike players but he has come to represent the squad's overpaid gutlessness and refusal to fulfil expectation. Somehow that's worse than players who are simply no longer up to it, or never were. (Name your own suspects here.)
You mean the rest of the squad, the manager and possibly some of the upper management?

I wasn't too specific then was I?
