Hi Folks
I can confirm it is Joe Mason that is signing for you tomorrow as he told me on Saturday whilst visiting family back in Plymouth.

Mason did nothing the last time he was here so I can't say I'm looking forward to this. I'm a bit bamboozled by what Freedman see's in him. But then again, I'm bamboozled by everything he does.

You never know, maybe him and Juke can an develop SAS type partnership and shoot us up the league.

''Amazing! Out of nothing Bolton are level. A quick throw, Kevin Nolan keeps play alive in the box and finds Kevin Davies on the left who lashes a shot under Oliver Kahn.''

More likely to shoot us up the butt. If he's all that, why is he coming to us?mcflykyle182 wrote:You never know, maybe him and Juke can an develop SAS type partnership and shoot us up the league.

Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

Bollocks!! I thought the Elk was coming back.
Re: New Striker joining on Monday?
Quite funny that Leicester fans laughed at us for signing Danns, who has been very good, while cardiff fans rate mason highly and he was dreadful. I genuinely think that freedman is dragging players down and has done the same to mason. The lad must have something and we might see it if he plays up frotn with Juke, with mavies providing the bullets. Or he'll end up isolated somehow and look as shite as he did last time. We'll see.

Well clearly he's better than Eaves, Sordell and Cravies!

He looked a tidy enough player, but he's not suited to the lone man role up top. Off a striker, yes, by all means get him on board.

JOE Mason will arrive for a second loan spell at the Reebok today – with Dougie Freedman tipping him as the right man to remedy Wanderers’ woes.
Once again young Douglas has been watching a completely different player to the one that I've seen.

Perhaps by Wanderer's woes, he means the space on the bench created by Moritz?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

So, unless he now ditches the one up front policy he seems wedded to who will play. I'd be very happy to see a small, fast nippy striker play off Lukas and reduce the gap between forward(s) and midfield ... paid for by playing only one of the twins (Medo in my preference). But do I have the faintest faith it'll be that simple ?
(No, I don't. In case you're wondering).
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I read in the BEN something along the lines of he's ace on his own or as part of a duo. I'd go find the link etc, but it wouldn't be fair to quote Dougiebobo the clown wrote:Exactly this.boltonboris wrote:He looked a tidy enough player, but he's not suited to the lone man role up top. Re: New Striker joining on Monday?
Answer to Bolton's woes? We had a big striker on Saturday. He got stuck in, he scored a goal. Now we're supposed to believe a striker is going to be the answer to the problems of a team who let in a soft goal per game because of a Comic-Kuts manager who seems to delight in contradicting himself and a defence who coudn't defend a cream cake against Billy Bunter. Yeah....
