I know I shouldn't, because I've supported the Wanderers through thick and thin for getting on for 50 yrs now, since my grandad first took me to Burnden Park when I was 5. But not only do I think we will get beat, probably by 2 or more goals; I don't care any more. I'm already resigned to us losing, and resigned to the fact we will be relegated. Thanks Dougie.

Bolton drinking game:

Take a drink when any of the following occur:
-We score first
-We are poor for large portions of the game
-Dougie makes a defensive substitution on a slender lead/level game
-They score following a defensive substitution
-A goalkeeper/defender makes a mistake contributing us conceding
-We give away/miss a penalty
-We do not threaten to equalise/get back in the game

Bonus: If all the above occur, finish the bottle and post your thoughts of the manager in Freedman out thread.

I do not recommend playing this game. There is a high possibility of blacking out before half time.

Never mind, we'll win 4-0!

I'm going to go for 3-1 to Watford. They'll dominate the game and we'll somehow scrape a goal, probably Juke with a header.
has he missed a y off the bu?

or is it some clever joke I don't understand :conf:

We will win this weekend, 4-1 - get some money on it! Dead cert :oyea:

Almost certainly just typo'd "by" as "bu" since they're next to each other on the keyboard. I was just playing on it sounding like Kung Fu. No the wittiest joke ever, but I'm at work and only operating at half speed :P
It was indeed a typo. With hindsight I should've gone with 'Stung Bee Hornets' ;)

I would have used the Watford gap to good effect.

However I need to save my third and final match thread for this season, fo when it's absolutely necessary. I was hoping for the play off final to guarantee victory and promotion.

It will now probably be used in the tricky April period.

Anyway, my typo's hardly a typo at all when compared to this. :)

We'll lead 7-0 going into half time. Then Dougie will mess about with the formation/bring Zat Knight on and we'll lose 8-7.

What utter nonsense. What makes you think we'd possibly get to half-time with a clean sheet Hoss ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I remember a match report once describing how the striker 'fired in an early shit that warmed the goalkeeper's hands'. Was in the Pink Final, had a right old snigger.

A Company I worked for many years ago sent sent job offers out to Shit Operatives .... rather than Shift.

To prove they were consistent the following year sent out contracts for Crapp Apprentices (which was what we called then colloquially but Craft Apprentices would have been a little more polite).

Since the 1999 play off final we've played Watford 8 times, beating them 6 times and losing twice.

We'll shit 'em.

Really looking forward to this game Duggy has stated we need to grind out results, he will not be playing the kids as they are not ready for a fight! This sentiment will get people off their sofas and off to the match!

Two major relegation scraps with Barnsley/Millwall and Yeovil/Donny which I fear won't go our way as both Millwall and Doncaster will probably win. Unfortunately the potential silver lining to this weekend's clashes is Charlton/QPR which theoretically should be a walkover for 'Arry, but which I forsee as being one of those derby turnovers - which will do us no favours whatsoever.
Furthermore to deepen my own gloom, I'll predict a nil-threeer in our thrilling battle.
That's not a leopard!
