I'm over at the other office now so no longer have pitch view! I missed the lads training on the pitch the Friday before matches for the latter part of the season as well

What's with the random white on the lower tier? Did we have too many white seats?

Re: The Macron Stadium
It will always be known as the Reebok, in fact most people I know refer to the whole area as the Reebok rather than middlebrook so I doubt some cheesy Italian name will hold any water.

All traditions have to start somewhere. Perhaps Philly G's found that fax in an old pair of trousers and he's bringing Rivaldo in after all!
Get yourselves down there you miserable buggers and audition.

Why not give every fan a vuvuzela whilst they are at it?Gary the Enfield wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:Samba band, that great tradition that accompanies English football matches.....Bruce Rioja wrote:Oh for feck's sake, no. All the more reason to stay away until one minute to three.

I have no issue with the principle of this, it is a nice idea and all to offer people the chance to learn sommat and play on matchdays. But it just feels like they've gone "oh world cup, Brazil, lets have a samba band". It is like music after goals (which I personally don't care about either way), it just feels a bit forced.

(Possibly wondering where's all that feckin' sand gone).
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: The Macron Stadium
Oh dear. I just found myself using the phrase "at the Macron". I didn't even think about it, it just came out. I'm not sure now that we will still be calling it the Reebok in, say, five years time.
That's not a leopard!

Re: The Macron Stadium
Are there City fans who still call it Eastlands, or Arsenal fans who still call it Ashburton Grove? If so we might be better off going the 'Middlebrook' route.
