Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Pre-Brentford press conference:

I'll forgive him his use of "going forward" and "150 per cent" for his comment on Liam Trotter's return to the squad: "...another centre midfield player to add to the 563 we already have."

Not many at the conference.

I think that he is going to have them right up for this.

The bit in the press conference about telling people about the club in Belfast and it being important to raise the profile of the club, if you can. I don't think I've ever heard that or similar from a manager of ours (although, to be fair, it's only been recently I've started watching the press conferences). Almost started welling up!

I just love listening to him. So refreshing to hear honesty, and being down to earth "Liam Trotter, another central midfielder, just to add to the other 563 we already have".....love him, and i am so looking forward to seeing the game tomorrow. East lower here i come :)

I'd hate to upset this guy, he's so driven.

I'd hate to upset this guy, he's so driven. Yet with humour as well.

The 563 midfielder line is funny, and had the press giggling. But how the roaring hell did we get to that position ?

I think he was exaggerating for comic effect Bo... oh hang on you know that.

Freedman was just desperately trying to bring in someone who could work out WTF he was on about, leaving him with 563 head-scratchers.
